Thunder

A few things before I start the chapter.

I plan for this to be the final chapter of the arc. It will also be the final chapter of the "season." I like to organize my stories like anime's so this would be the end of MHA Lost season 1.

Don't worry, I still want to keep writing this series but I just wanted to put that out there!

(Ren POV)

"What do you mean you tried to call me out three days ago?" I ask my dad,

"We sent the message to you, you're saying you didn't get it until recently?" My dad questions. "Also, what the hell is that?" He points to my open suitcase. My villain costume is in it.

"I... couldn't leave it behind," I admitted. My dad sighed.

"Ren... are you sure you don't need to talk about this to us, we're here to listen y'know," My dad comforts, "Just please tell me that you're not too attached..." He worries. We're both silent for a while.

"Don't worry! I'm not attached at all!" I lie.

In truth, I am attached. And it's gonna be a while until I can get over it. I sigh.

"Alright then, let's go," dad says as he leads me into a car to drive us home. Suddenly the car stops and my dad gets out, "I have a few more things I need to do, go home and get some rest," he explains. I nod silently as he shuts the car door.

I stay silent for a while. We drive through the city. Towering above the buildings, I can the All Might statue. I wonder what he would have done, would he get attached too? I wondered.

Suddenly the sound of police sirens wail across the street.

"Hey what's going on!?" I ask the driver.

"There's a villain on the loose!" He answers shakily. A villain? I grab the suitcase containing my villain costume, I hesitate. Is this right? Using my villain costume as a hero? I shake my head. Now's not the time!

I pull it on quickly before unlocking the door. "Hey! Where do you think you're going!?" The driver yells.

"Where else?" I ask, motioning to the scene. "I'm a hero! Remember?" I claim as I put on the Kaneki mask I use as a villain. I take a deep breath and leap out of the car.

"Someone call the heroes!" A policeman yells

"They're already on the way!!" Another replies. What's going on here?! I wondered, I doubt they'll think of me as a hero when I don't have a license, but still... I thought. Who are they pointing their guns at? I wondered, and then I saw the villain.
Oh... it was Zero.

"Put your hands in the air!" A policeman yelled.
Suddenly, a rookie policeman panicked and fired. Zero retaliated, dodging the bullet and going right for the rookie. Moving quickly, I pushed the policeman out of the way before dodging the attack myself. Zero's eyes widened when she saw me.

"You..." Zero whispered, "I'll kill you, liar!" She announced. Liar? Is she talking about my betrayal?

I bit my lip as I looked into Zero's eyes. She wasn't her usual cold self. She looked different, much different. She looked angry, hateful, sad. She's in pain. I realized.
"You... I'll kill you!" Zero announced again. Rage radiated off of her, her aura was the literal meaning of killing intent.

Zero struck, turning her hands into blades as they slashed at me. I can't block any of them! I bit my lip as I dodged the blows.

"I'll kill you!! I'll kill you here!!" Zero yelled.
