Sports Festival: BEGIN!!

(Kaminari POV)

"Look! There's Ren!" I tell Kyokya as I see class 1A enter the Sports festival arena. As heroes, we were given a break to watch the sports festival. Damn, this makes me really nostalgic. I remember when I was Ren's age. Okay, now I just feel like an old man. I think. 

"YOU BETTER WIN RYUJI!!!" Bakugou yells from beside me. Although he may not seem like it, Bakugou's actually a pretty great dad, he taught his child almost every single thing he knows, he's the one that suggested that I watch Ren's training sessions so that I would know what his fighting style was. 

All I did was be a villain and threaten to kill my own son.

Mina Ashido has taken Midnights position ever since Midnight retired. That might be better because Ashido doesn't have a rated R costume. (This setup is just like how it was in the anime) 

"Ok, the person we chose to represent was Suguha Midoriya!" Ashido announces. "Please come up and say a few words!"

"Oh no..." Midoriya sighs from behind me.

"What's wrong?" I ask, turning around to face him.

"Our daughter, she's... well... a little... impulsive..." Uraraka says slowly. I turn back to see that Suguha is now in front of the mic.

"Three words," She says, "I will win." The crowd obviously is not impressed by this. They all start yelling at her, but she doesn't seem to care as she walks back to her class. Holy crap, she's nothing like Midoriya or Uraraka... I turn back to Izuku to see a worried look on his face. "This is exactly like when we're younger," He says, he's not wrong, Bakugou basically said the same thing when we were in the sports festival.

"Ok! Let's start with the first event!" Ashido yelled. The spinner appeared from behind her. The first event showed once it stopped spinning. "The first event is free for all!!" She announced.

(Suguha POV)

Ashido-Sensei explains the rules, each person has a headband worth 5 points take other peoples headbands to rack points up and if you get your headband stolen you lose points. The top 50 people will move on to the next event. I think for a bit before all this happened I read on most of the students in the same year as me. I know how good they are, and I know the people I wanna go up against, the people that can actually put up a fight against me, not many people can do that when you can lift boulders and huge platforms with your mind. I wanna go up against the ones I think are worthy. I have an idea, the sports festival is made so that all students can advance as long as they use their quirks well. But they've never had me attend before, this year, as long as the events are in my favour, I am a god, I will decide who moves on and who doesn't, I will go up against exactly who I want to.

(Ren POV)

I don't wanna use Thunder Palm just yet, I don't think I'll need to either, there are so many other students here that I could just sneak up on them and steal the headband, and if anyone does the same to me, they would have to come in close contact where I could just zap 'em without losing many volts.

The staff tell us to stand around the perimeter of the field. A loud bang sounds and then pure chaos happens. People are fighting for headbands everywhere. I think I just zapped 5 people in the first second. And I think my headband was stolen at least three times before I snagged another one, I have 5 headbands now, 2 around my head and the rest around my neck. Through the mess of people I see Suguha she's just sitting there, her headbands gone too. What's she doing? She's gonna lose like that. 

I duck as someone tries my headband, then redirect another hand reaching for me. How long does this have to go on for again? I remember them saying that it goes on for around 30 minutes. Crap, this is gonna be harsh. I think. 

(Timeskip 29 minutes and 50 seconds later)

(Still Ren POV)

10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. I thought a buzzer sounded. I sighed in relief. I felt my head to make sure the headbands were still there, they were. I look around. That's weird. A few kids who I saw have more headbands then me a second ago have zero headbands now. Multiple students are looking around, patting their heads in confusion, 1 second all their headbands are there, the next they're all gone. I look around, I this someone's quirk? I turn to see Suguha, who is in the exact same position that she was in the start. but this time, she the most headbands. Piece by piece everything starts to come together. I understand now. At the last second, Suguha took all the headbands at once with her quirk. Wait, then why do I still have headbands? I wonder. There are other people who still have their headbands too. I see Akio, who still gas his headbands scoff. He turns to me. "She chose you too I see." He says. I give him a confused look.

"Did you really think Suguha was taking headbands randomly," He says.

"Well... Kinda..." I say shrugging.

"Look around, exactly 50 people still have headbands, she planned this, she chose who would move on and who wouldn't," Akio explained. I look around again, he's right. Not only that but al the kids who still have their headbands that I know have good results, not a coincidence. She had this entire thing under her control the entire time.

(Suguha POV)

This is perfect. Anyone who I want to move on is moving on. The kids from my class I wanted to move on were Ren because I don't see him in action much, I wouldn't have picked him but I needed to choose 49 people. Akari, his quirk isn't much, but his reactions are more than first-rate, and his speed while he's swinging, is impressive. Akio, his quirk is something to envy and his skills with it are almost as good as mine, he also assesses situations well. Our class mom Sakura, she's very good at strategizing and she helped me with my last English essay too, so I guess feeling kinda biased. Lastly, Ryuji. As much as I hate this rotten Kachaan, he's a good fighter, and crushing one-on-one would just prove that I'm better than him. I've studied them like how Yuuki studies ships. 

Ashido-sensei spins the spinner again to tell us the next event. "The event will be the cavalry battle!!" She announces. I laugh. Another event involving taking points? I guess I'll just play god again.

That's Suguha Midoriya for you, nothing like her father or mother. If you wanna see more of a certain character (Doesn't have to be a nextgen) just comment and I'll try to let them have more time.
