Inferno vs Red Riot

I'm going to jump right into the fights, enjoy!

(Nagisa POV)

"Go Inferno, Go!" Yuuki cheered, calling me by my hero name. I took a deep breath. The current 3A class recently built an arena as a school project. It was as big as an American football field. On the overside was Red Riot, ready and waiting.

"Ready and... Begin!" Uraraka Sensei announced.

I exploded towards Red Riot. Get the first hit in with momentum! I thought. With a yell and fire surrounding my fists. slammed my fist into Red Riot. But instead of doing anything to block the attack, Red Riot stood there and let my fists ram into his face so hard it created a light shockwave.

Red Riot's head turned to the side from the impact a little but other than that, he didn't even budge. He didn't even need to use his arms to block the attack! He took no damage at all!

Red Riot smiled, my fists still in his face. "Quite the manly punch there Inferno!" He complimented. Suddenly he grabbed my arm before I could fly away, "Let me... Return it!!" He hardened his fists and slammed them into my stomach.

It was like getting shot by a gun. I was sent flying back. Get up, get up! I willed myself. I started to get up but there was a menacing pain in my stomach. What the hell was working on my abbs at the gym for?? I thought.

"C'mon, are you done already?" Red Riot taunted. I growled as I got up. If I get hit again, I'm done for! I realized. Use your speed! You're faster than him! I guided myself. Using the flames from my feet, I jetted myself forward. I punched Red Riot harder but the result was the same, only this time, I back away before Red Riot could take me out. I began to punch him faster and all-around hitting him over and over and over again

He's not even trying to block or attack, he's just standing there tanking all my hits... I growled in frustration. Wait, if he won't attack... then... I backed away and decided to charge my fire punches instead. The punch that has had the most impact so far was the one where I had some momentum, so I'll just put everything into one punch! I decided.

The fire surrounding my fists spread around my entire arm, growing thicker and more intense by the second. It started growing bigger. Until the fire not only enveloped my arm but spread behind me and raged in the air around me. 

(Think of it like how the pokemon Typhlosion has fire on it's back, this is that but with Nagisa's arm) 

"Well... this is getting interesting," Red Riot cracked a smile, "Come at me like a manly man Inferno! Don't hold anything back!" He yelled.

This is my special move, after this, I won't be able to use this arm for a while. I thought. With a roar, I charged at him, shooting towards him with fire on my feet.

"DRAGON..." I yelled. Suddenly, Red Riot's eyes widened, he took a more stable position spreading his feet wider, and raised his arms getting ready to defend.

"BURST!!!" I roared, slamming my fist into Red Riot. This time, Red Riot raised his arm and I slammed my attack into that.

Damnit! I thought, with a yell, I shot flames from my elbow to push my fist further. Suddenly, I heard a crack and Red Riot raised his other arm to block my attack.

With a yell, Red Riot redirected my attack downwards, which made me hit the ground causing an explosion and a smokescreen.

"Not done!" I yelled, using my other arm, I struck Red Riot's chin with a fierce uppercut. It's not hardened! He must've focused all his hardening on his arms! I realized. With a yell I sent Red Riot flying back.

Red Riot got back up pretty quickly to face me again. He got up?! Does this guy not feel pain?! I wondered.

"Nice job! That one actually hurt!" He laughed as he rubbed his jaw, a huge bruise on the arm where I hit him.

"Damnit..." I whispered. Suddenly I noticed the cracks on his hardened skin. Did I damage his hardening? This could be my chance! I thought. With a deep breath, I blew fire at him.

My stomach didn't like this, it started ringing with pain. But it's working! Red Riot's focus is wavering! I realized. I started to move forward while Red Riot had his arms up to defend against my flamethrower. My stomach screamed in pain. Don't stop! If you stop he'll retaliate! I willed myself. Once I was close enough, I punched him again with my healthy hand. slamming it into his face. It worked, I punched him hard enough so that it would knock him over. Red Riot fell down. Immediately I raised my fist in a way that threatened that if he got up, I would strike again. I won!

Red Riot laughed, "That was so MANLY!! Great job my man!" He said as I helped him up.

"I declare Inferno the winner!" Red Riot announced.

I won! I cheered as I fell down in exhaustion.

Take that Ren! You can't keep up with me!

(Kirishima POV)

"You went way too easy on them!" Bakugo yelled.

"K-kachaan, calm down! Nagisa is one of the strongest!" Deku said.

"Tch," Bakugo scoffed as he sat back down. We were in the teacher's area that the students had built so the teachers could observe how the students battled.

I sighed as I sat down next to him and took off my wristband that forced me to only use 20% of my quirk's strength, Thank god I had it on, I almost went unbreakable mode on Nagisa. I thought.

"Hey Todo-bro, you're next right? Here," I said, tossing him the wrist band.

"Thanks," He said as he put it on.

"You're up against Suguha next right? Good luck!" Deku says. Todo-bro nods before heading onto the stadium.

(Suguha POV)

"Nice job Nagisa!" Yuuki cheers as she high-fives him.

"You were pretty cool out there man, it's impressive," Asashi added.

Sakura put her hand on my shoulder. "Be careful out there, you're up against one of the top 3 heroes, and we can only afford to lose once before Yuuki's battle, you know that right?" She asks.

"Don't worry about it, I know what I'm doing," I scoff. as I brush her hand off my shoulder.

I won't lose. 

The next chapter will be Esper (Suguha) against Shoto!
