19 [ manipulated ]

The school were about to start again tomorrow, our training won't stop but we can only train once a week

We're now in our balcony enjoying our tea time again, we tried to forget what happened last week especially me and zen but i know it's already awkward for us

I also noticed that zen is avoiding theo from time to time while i tried to maintain my composure in front of kiel

I already knew that luke and kiel will be together in the end but still... well it wont be hurt if ill be their friend right?

I flinched when i heard gen on my mind

I dont want to forget him, like why would i? This is just like a puppy love so it'll go away soon

I heard a tsk coming from gen but i ignored it as i heard theo speak

"The class will start tomorrow, im quite nervous. What if they will attack us again?"

I thought zen would answer him but he just stayed still and drank his tea not minding theo and theo noticed it so he looked down

Luke raised his eyebrow at this sight "did both of you fight?"

"No" theo and zen both said at the same time

Luke sighed then shook his head, the silence is unbearable so i changed the subject

"If there will be a war we need to maintain our calm, we need to focus on our surroundings just like we trained"

They nodded at me and then we continued to talk different things to distract ourselves from worries

3RD'S POV

all students lined up at the closed gate in front of them, some of them is still trembling slightly caused by the trauma they experienced

Once they announced that the gate will open they prepared themselves as if they were going to a battlefield

The gate started to open slowly until it opened widely but the students stayed still until a few started to enter

When all the students entered, suddenly a loud bang can be heard

They looked behind them and saw the gate closed so loudly, the students near it tried to open it but they cant until they heard an announcement that the gate wont open again

Some of the students panicked but they cant do anything about it, they was about to enter the school when they heard another explosive sound behind them

The dark violet portals can be seen near the gates and the demons leaving the portals scattered around making the students frightened but some of them already started to attack the demons and shadows, lucas and others formed as they planned for an unexpected attacks

Lucas uses his healing to the wounded students while attacking some demons and shadows whose attacking them

Ren helps lucas by shielding them while zen, kiel, luke and theo attacks the incoming demons

Leo is missing in the action until another explosive sound can be heard, then there's leo far from then killing the students, luke saw this and startled by the betrayal but then he realized the suspicious actions leo did makes sense

Lucas clenched his fist, he cant go near leo since he still needs to protect the students

"Go" Ren yelled at lucas "ill protect them, you should go and defeat him" lucas only nodded at him them hesitantly rushed towards leo leaving the healed students behind ren

While running, lucas placed his hand on the inventory finding the light sword he was about to get it when he felt a cold sensation inside his body, the knife pierced on his arm, he felt the blood coming from his body runs on his arm, he got alerted then felt another stab but it was on his legs

Lucas still remained calm and observed leo attacking him, he then swiftly wield his sword when he felt a presence in front of him but it didn't pierced anything

Too fast, leo is too fast at teleporting and wielding. He was just like an assassin but not that strong enough since he was not that experienced

Leo wore a smugged face while still attacking lucas mercilessy and unconsciously until lucas loosened his grip then the sword fell down on the ground making leo distracted

He grasp the opportunity to stab leo near his heart using a small knife he secretly got on his inventory

Leo fell down on his knee, he touched his bleeding chest then came back to his senses. He looked at lucas pitifully but smiled as the blood started to poured out from his mouth, he felt his surroundings getting blurry until he passed out

Lucas looked at him sadly, when leo was about to fall down completely he reached out his hands to support leo then he healed him and carried him to his friends

Lucas's group already defeated the enemies one by one, the professors whose also trapped on the school helps to remove the portals

After they removed the portals, the remaining demons and shadows completely annihilated by the students

Successfully, the 'war' already ended after the lord has been killed by luke's special ability

Lucas got bewildered by the special ability luke's obtained, it was confusing as the ability can't be seen

He shook his head and helps the remaining students whose wounded by the attacks from the demons

Then his groups carried the unconscious leo towards the room, they locked it and guarded leo as if leo will attack them again but no

When leo woke up, he saw the glaring gazes from his friends except lucas and ren whose looking at him expressionless

"Explain" is the only word kiel uttered while using his cold voice

Leo averts his eyes and looked down instead "i got manipulated"

Others doesn't believed but lucas believes at him. he knew leo isn't lying, he can tell by his eyes

Luke was about to yell at leo but lucas stopped him "stop, he's telling the truth" they looked at him in bewilderment

"Why did you say so?" Kiel asked him with stern face

"Are you accomplices with leo?!" Luke exclaimed that made lucas annoyed at him, he want to roll his eyes but he didn't

"When i was fighting him i saw his eyes is blank, you cant see his pupils" lucas explained calmly, they nodded at him and calmed themselves
