After I woke up the following morning, I left Riley in bed to rest while I started to pack up my car for a trip Riley doesn't even know she's going on I quietly walked back into her bedroom to pack her a small suitcase. I'm pretty certain I know Riley well enough to know what she would pack for this occasion and what she would be comfortable in wearing The main reason for this trip is just to purely make Riley feel better You don't even want to know what I had to promise Mr T I would do to get this time off of. I think it may be worse then what Riley's Number 7 was on the list before she changed it I smiled slightly looking over to see Riley sleeping so peacefully "Ri" I whispered gently shaking her as she began to stir at the sound of my voice After a couple seconds of moving around, Riley's big brown beautiful eyes were finally looking back up at me. The same eyes that I've seen through all these years, the same eyes I don't ever want to change "I need you to get up and ready Babe" I said pressing our lips together "Ready for what? I have classes all morning" She said sitting up stretching "No you don't Miss Kate took care of them all. I have a surprise for you" I smiled, Riley looked at me a little confused "I don't understand" She said looking around seeing both of our suitcases there "James?" She asked and I smiled "Get dressed Ri, we are leaving shortly" I chuckled wheeling them away
She slept in longer then I thought she would, I won't lie. I managed to drive to mine, pack, come back to hers, pack for Riley and then she still hadn't woken up. She clearly needed the rest "Where are we?" Riley asked, we had been driving for a couple of hours but we were almost at our destination and I couldn't wait to see the look on her face "Jamesss" She whined. It's common knowledge that Riley hated the unknown, she hated not knowing every single little detail "We are here" I chuckled pulling into the driveway of a little cabin The last time I was here, I was 15. It was the first holiday I went on while dating Riley. I had begged both my mum and Riley for Riley to come but they both agreed I needed time for family to As much as I have always wanted to spend as much time as I can with Riley, experiencing everything with her by my side. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I love this boy and I don't deserve him.. I smiled looking over my shoulder to see James stood there smiling as he leant against the doors "I love you" I said making him smile coming over and planting a soft kiss on my lips "I love you too" He replied as we pulled away "Now as gorgeous as you look at here, I need you to get dressed" He said pecking my lips in between words "Where are we going?" I asked and he chuckled kissing me once more "One of these day, I hope you stop asking" he chuckled handing me a towel "Never" I replied making him chuckle as we both walked into the the Lodge
I don't know what I was dressing for, or where we were going but there was a dress and a pair of heels laid out in the bedroom, so I'm going to take the small hint that I should be putting that on "You look even more beautiful then I thought was possible" James said minutes later as he came in wrapping his arms around me as I flattened out the dress in the mirror "Do you know what this dress reminds me of?" I asked and James smiled looking at me "The dress you wore on our first date?" He asked and I smiled nodding as I kissed him This dress was in no means the same dress, but it had a similar design and the exact same colour "You planned that didn't you" I chuckled looking at his outfit. A Navy blue shirt, back waistcoat, black jeans "You remember all of it" I smiled fixing his waistcoast "Of course I do, it was my first date with the love of my life" He smiled pressing our lips together again
