I walked off of the tour bus that evening, I knew the boys were in the venue either attempting a soundcheck or messing around
They didn't have a show tonight so they wanted to rehearse some knew things. But knowing this boys as well as I did, I bet there is no practicing going on

As soon as I walked in I shook my head, sure there was music coming from the venue but it wasn't the boys. They were playing music and messing around, James doing his usual tricks while Theo attempted the same
"One of you are going to get hurt you know" I said crossing my arms making them all look up at me
"Look at your motherly instincts already kicking into high gear" Luke teased making me chuckle
"They always have been when it came to you idiots" I said making him smile 

James came over kissing me as he got close enough before we turned back to the rest of the boys
"Do we have any plans this evening or are you lot just gonna keep messing around?" I asked making all the boys look around before looking at me
"Messing around it is" I laughed rolling my eyes
"I'll go get us some food then" I said about to leave but James was quick to pull me back

"Can I come?" He asked and I nodded with a smile
Since I joined the tour, James and I haven't had much time just the two of us, no fault of anyone's except the hectic schedule the boys had created 
I give it a week before I rejig it for them all

It was pretty dark out given the time but I guess it's just that time of year at the moment
"Ri, i need to talk to you about something" James said making my heart instantly sink
I stopped walking to face him with a confused look on my face, I looked up at him and for the first time in years. I couldn't read his face 

"What's happened?" I asked and he bowed his head
"Beth reached out to me" He said making me look at him confused
"So?" I asked, I was confused on what the issue was. Surely we are long past our Beth problem

"She wanted to meet me this weekend" He muttered and I shot him a look
"You weren't going to go were you?" I asked, it dawned on me that he could have easily gone if I wasn't here
"James?" I asked not hearing a response

He looked up at me and the moment he did I knew his answer..

"Why? Why would you even think about that!" I asked trying to fight back some tears
"Listen Riley, I swear I wasn't going to go alone. The boys and I were gonna go and-" he started but I shook my head 
"Were you ever going to tell me?" I asked
"If I hadn't come on tour, would I have ever found out James?" I asked and he nodded but still with some hesitation

"Go" i said making James look at me confused
"What?" He asked
"Go meet Beth, Go do what ever the hell you would be doing without me here" I said turning around to walk away

"Riley wait!" He called running after me but no amount of yelling or running after me was going to get me to stop

I got to the Tour bus only to see the boys sat in the first section. I ran straight past them slamming the door to the back room instantly
"Riley please talk to me!" James yelled but I ignored him yet again, I let my back hit the back of the door as I slowly slid down it 

I was meant to be marrying him, I'm carrying his child but yet he was about to go and meet the girl who helped break my heart the first time around?
