Riley's POV

 As I continue to stare him right in the eye, I can't help but wonder why I've always been so scared. Looking at him right now, all I see is this silly little boy who thinks mistreating girls, is the way to succeed in life
But he is wrong. Oh so wrong
"I think it is about time we talk" I said to him making him chuckle and look out of the hotel room
"No back up? No lover boy?" He asked and I rolled my eyes, he moved aside to invite me in
Part of me didn't want to go in, just in case this went south but at least people know where I am if it was to go that way
"What did you want to talk about?" He asked leaning against the bed, patting the seat beside him like I was about to take it. Fat Chance
"this is your last chance Lucas" I replied earning as raised eye brows
"finally running back?" He asked and I shook my head
"This is your last chance to leave Toronto and never come back" I replied and he laughed allowing his eyes to darken
"Riley, you are as dumb as you fucking look" He cursed
"Don't you get it? I'm not ever leaving, not until I have you in my arms or until you aren't able to be in anyone's arms" He laughed
"Is that a threat?" I asked making him nod
"And a serious one at that. You don't see how much time and effort I have invested in you!" He growled and I laughed
"You didn't nothing!" I replied
"I made you! You are where you are because of me!" He yelled standing up
"No! I'm where I am because of me, I'm where I am because of the support I had from the people you cut me off from! I'm where I am because I know my worth and I know I deserve so much better then you could ever offer me" I yelled making him take a step towards me
"What are you going to do Lucas? Are you going to hit me again" I yelled with some form of confidence I didn't even realise I had
"I'll do a lot worse then fucking hit you Riley, I'll put you 10 feet under!" He growled
"Go on then! I'm not fucking scared of you anymore Lucas. For the last 2 years, I've been your play thing, your punching back, your fucking victim and enough is enough. I'm not afraid of you anymore" I said causing him to move closer to look my right in the face
"You are nothing more then an abusive prick Lucas. I just wish I had gotten out sooner" I replied staring at his dark eyes. I smirked once more before turning on my heels

I didn't get far, my hand was on the door knob about to turn it when he spoke again
"Go on, run back to James. He'll break your heart just like before" He laughed and for the first time. I joined him
"Jealously doesn't look good on you Lucas" I replied looking at him once more
"You are nothing with out me" He growled making me laugh once more
"It's starting to show that you are running out of lines. You're scared that I've finally won. That I'm finally free and guess what Lucas? I am!" I replied
"I will find a way to get to you Riley I swear to god. I'll take that pretty boy down and his pretty little sister" He growled and this time my eyes turned dark as I headed straight towards him
"Hurt me. I don't give a fuck but lay one single fucking hand on her and I'll make sure you rot in hell" I growled
"Now that's the nerve I wanted to hit" He smirked
"You know what Lucas? I'd love that one of these days, someone gives you what you truly deserve" I smirked
"you are the most disgusting person I have ever met and the day I watch you rot will be the happiest day of my life" I said before tapping him on his shoulder walking out of the hotel room
He won't touch Piper, I'll make fucking sure of that. 
As for everything else, game on Lucas. I'm about to smash your world to pieces

James' POV

We were on a high! The Concert couldn't have gone better. Well, saying that.. I'm pretty sure Riley never showed up
I get what I did was messed up, I know I've screwed things up badly but I didn't think she would miss this, out of all the things, I thought this would be something she would come
"Hey man, what's up?" Theo asked coming to sit with me on the edge of the stage. Everyone had left except that band and I, we decided to celebrate with everyone tomorrow considering it was already super late
"Nothing" I mumbled swinging my legs 
"It's clearly something man" John asked sitting on the other side of me and Luke took a seat next to him
"I don't know, It's just Riley and I had an argument but I thought she would have at least turned up" I shrugged
"But it's whatever" I replied and I felt like I could hear the boys eyes roll
"Man, we know what happened with Riley, she came and spoke with us before she left the studio today" Luke said earning a look from John. This was clearly something they weren't meant to tell me
"Why did she come speak to you?" I asked
"To make sure you were okay. Whether you two are arguing or not, she loves you man" Luke said making me smile a little

Things have never been simple for Riley and I, that is for certain but at the end of the day, I can safely say. I wouldn't be here with out her
"She cares, that's all" I replied and John shook his head
"No man, it's more then that. The pair of you are special" John said and I looked at him
"It's like your duet" Theo said making me look at him
"It's a magnetic force between you" Luke said 
"And no matter how away you go from each other" John smiled
"There just a connection that keeps pulling us back" I whispered
"And you can try and fight it" John continued
"Butttt!"Theo interjects 
"No matter how hard you try" Luke said
"You can't deny it" I smiled 
That duet was one of mine and Riley's final dances together, yes we may have a dance alone here and there when I'm helping with a class or something but nothing will ever replace how we felt on that stage or what we did for our team that day
It's irreplaceable
I smiled at all of the boys matching the smiles on their faces too
"mmm can you go grab our wires from the back room" Luke asked making me chuckle and roll my eyes

I still can't get over how huge this place really is, it's like triple the size of anything we've played before. It's kind of like International big
As I walked in to the back room, I flipped the switch turning on the light while I also began to feel around without lifting my head
"Looking for these?" A sweet voice said, a voice I will never forget, I looked up to see Riley sat on the sofa with the wires in question
"What are you doing here?" I asked
"I came to see you show. You didn't think I would miss it did you?" She asked rising to her feet, I smiled widely at her rushing over to scoop her up
"I thought you were made at me" I replied still hugging her close not wanting to let go
"No I'm not James. I know you did what you did because you cared about me. Which is why I did the exact same thing because I care about" she replied and I instantly pulled away slightly to look at her
I needed to make sure he hadn't hurt her
"He didn't touch me James" She laughed. For someone who had just seen her abusive Ex she was light hearted
"Why did you do that Riley?" He asked
"Why didn't you tell me? I would have come" I ranted and she rolled her eyes
"That is why I didn't tell you. I went there to show him I'm not afraid anymore, I went there to make sure he didn't bother you again" she said and I looked at her trying to read her expression
"I don't care about him bothering me Ri, It's you he needs to leave alone" I confessed and she smile
"He won't bother either of us" She whispered wrapping her arms around my neck pulling me into another hug 
And I wasn't about to complain..
