Saving Riley

Riley's POV

"I'm sorry Miss" her voice rung on the phone, I was frozen. Frozen in fear 
"The judge doesn't see and immediate risk to your safety to offer your a TRO, however he thinks a RO is in order so the papers have been sent to Mr Lucas Daniels and you are both to attend the courthouse in on Friday. That is the earliest we could book it in." She continued but the more she spoke the more I began to panic
"So what am I meant to do exactly? He now knows what I have done and bet you lucky stars his first stop will be my doorstep, or my place of work where there are children! Children he has already threatened" I replied 
"I'm sorry Miss Raymond, there isn't a lot more I can do for you, the judges decision is final. May I suggest you stay with someone till this hearing?" She asked and I groaned
"I shouldn't have to do that. I shouldn't have to put someone I trust and love in danger because you guys won't protect me" I replied
"Like I said, there isn't anything I can do" She said and I sighed
"well see you in Friday then. If I'm still alive" I said and before she continued I had hung up the phone. I didn't know what I was going to do but I knew I couldn't stay here

I spoke to Miss Kate. I couldn't tell her much as it could put her in danger so I told her what I could before telling her I needed the week. To which she happily agreed, some of A-Troupe are going to cover my classes while I cancelled my Riley's Corner for the week
Getting to my place I knew that I had to get out of this City, before he found out where I was
I should have know that it wouldn't be this simple, I should have known that I couldn't get a Restraining Order without some kind of backlash.. But I just hope I haven't put James and Piper in danger doing so

James' POV

"Hey Miss Kate" I smiled as she walked into Lost & Found, she instantly clocked me and came into the green room
"Just the guy I was looking for" She replied
"What's up?" I asked
"Riley asked me to give you this" she answered handing me a letter, I looked at it then back to Miss Kate
"what is it?" I asked and she shrugged
"Is Riley okay though? She seemed a little tense?" Miss Kate asked, I shrugged this time
"she seemed okay when I saw her this morning before Mini's" I replied 
"well check in on her later for me?" Miss Kate asked and I nodded before Miss Kate made her swift exit

I was about to open the letter when Luke, Theo and John made an appearance
"You ready for Round 2?" John asked placing his hand on my shoulder, I smiled and nodded as we made our way to our usual spot
I had a lot of idea's from FaceTiming with Riley last night and I couldn't wait to put them into songs. 
This Album was going to be how I make this right with Riley
It's how I'm going to get her back

After what felt like an eternity, I managed to get home safely. I tried calling Ri to check on her like Miss Kate had asked me to but she had answered me at all today. Should I be worried?
It felt weird to be home, I'd been staying at Riley's a lot recently and I don't know. Being here, on my own just seems wrong
It doesn't help that I can't shake the feeling that something is going on. Something I don't know about
I sighed sitting down on the sofa to watch TV as I flicked through Instagram. It was nothing really that interesting, I was surprised to see that Riley hadn't posted on her Riley's Corner page about her availability this week. I furrowed my brows and headed over to her person page to see that she hadn't posted anything there either
That's when I took to Facebook
Last Active 18hrs Ago..
That was strange, Riley is usually very active, she'll talk to Parents via Facebook or Instagram
With another phone call, it just went straight to voicemail.. Riley what is going on
"Michelle!" I called into the phone as Michelle picked up
"What's up James?" She asked
"Have you heard from Ri today?" I asked and Michelle went Silent for a moment. It was Sunday evening, she wouldn't be at work. Plus if she was, then why would Miss Kate ask me to check in on her when she could
"I haven't heard from her since Friday night" Michelle confessed, my breath hitched as she said the words
"Okay well let me know if you hear anything" I replied 
That when it dawned on me... The letter

I ran over to my back from work and took out the cream piece of paper Miss Kate had once handed to me and there written in her beautiful hand writing James
I was scared to think of what is in this letter. Please don't leave me again Riley... Please I don't think I can take it 

Riley's POV

"Are you going to tell me what is going on now Riley?" Amanda asked and I shook my head, I knew Amanda had moved away and persuade her career so I knew for a fact nobody would trace me here
"Are you sure it's okay for me to stay, it's only until Friday I promise" I replied and Amanda nodded
"of course, but Riles if you are in trouble. I can help you" She replied placing her hand on mine
"I'm okay I promise" I replied with a smile, not a real one but hopefully it as a believable one
By now, James would have my letter hopefully making this make sense to him. He has to understand I'm not leaving forever, it's for 5 days. Just until it's safe for them. Just until I'm not a threat to them anymore.. I wouldn't ever be able to forgive myself if I got them hurt.
