James' POV

After a long night with Riley's friends, we had decided we would use today to go exploring, by that I mean. Riley and I are spending the day going back to Julliard
I don't mind it though, it's nice to see where she spent her 4 years. It's crazy to think that this one place was the difference between Riley and I staying together to the break up leading to her pain
"This was our main studio is year 1" Riley smiled as we watched some students in their practicing
"You are proud of this place huh" I smiled wrapping my arms over her shoulder from behind, Riley leant back against me with a smile
"I am" She said smiling
"You lived your ballerina dreams" I smiled kissing the top of her head
I know for a fact, growing up Riley always wanted to be a ballerina and here in this building she accomplished that. I just wish I had been able to be around to see it 

We continued our tour of the building until we had covered all bases
"Where to next?" I asked taking her hand twirling her as we walked through the park, she giggled lightly as I pulled back towards me
"Where ever you want to go" She smiled 
"Now this, this looks interesting" I said pulling Riley to a quick hault, she looked down the walkway of the park to see a bunch of stalls dotted around the place
"You and your stomach James" Riley laughed as we got to the first stall
It was indeed all food and nothing but food. I was practically in heaven

"Full yet?" Riley asked after we had finished at the last place
"that's a silly question" I replied making her laugh at me
"Can I have this dance" I asked looking over at the fountain to see a tall blonde playing a guitar
"you're crazy you know that" Riley asked but soon enough she took my hands as we walked closer to the fountain
I twirled and watched as her whole face light up with joy as we continued to dance
"I miss this" She muttered 
"I miss this too. We should do this more often" I said making her look at me with a smile
"Which part? the attending court or the getting away from reality?" She said with a light laugh
"The spending time being young kids in love again" I replied winking at her spinning her around
"Then why don't we do this more often?" She asked 

"What did you have in mind?" I asked watching as her smile grew
"I propose that one every 2-3 weeks we have a date night" She said and I smiled back at there
"That is the second best deal I ever made" I replied 
"The second? What was the first?" Riley asked as I pulled her close again
"If I get a 70% on my math test" I started making Riley roll her eyes but with a cute smile on her face
"That will always be the best deal I've ever made I'm afraid" I chuckled pressing my lips against hers

Riley and I got back to our rental a little later then anticipated but we couldn't care, it didn't matter to us at all. The only downside to today ending it that Court is in 1 day and I don't think Riley is ever going to be ready for that to come around
I'll be there every step of the way but there is only so much I can do when she won't let me help her unbox it
"I want to show you something" Riley said swiftly grabbing my hand before I even had a chance to object
"What is it Ri" I asked laughing as she pulled 
"Look" She said cuddling up to me as we looked up
"The stars?" I asked and she hummed in response, I chuckle looking up
It surprised me that you could see the stars so clearly being in the city and all and it was a pretty sight I'll give her that 
"I used to look up at the stars when I was alone and think about you" Riley whispered making me look down at her
"I would wonder if you were up late looking at the same stars" She continued making me smile
"I was" I replied making her smile looking at me
"You were?" She asked and I nodded
"I did it most nights, hoping that wherever you were. You were happy" I said making Riley turn to face me still stuck in my embrace
"I love you" she whispered
"I love you" I replied pressing our lips together 
"And i'm never letting you go again" I whispered as we pulled away placing our foreheads together
