James' POV

"What's going on?" John asked coming into the police station with Paula by his side
"Someone Riley went to school with thinks he knows where Lucas would have Riley" I explained with a smile on my face, the first smile I've truly been able to give since this all started
"He does?" Paula asked and I nodded.
Both of them looked at me with that small glimmer of hope I had on my face all afternoon
"Alright" An officer said coming out of the room with George
"What happens now?" I asked rushing over with Riley's parents
"We have officers on route now" He said, I took a deep breath in
Please be there Riley
Please just hold on a little longer, we are coming I promise

Riley's Parents and I decided to head home to their house, they had offered to let me stay since I couldn't stand being in that place without Riley
Of course the room they offered me was Riley's, I smiled walking in. This room hasn't changed at all since I first came here at 16
The lilac walls covered head to toe in photos, there wasn't a moment that wasn't captured in Riley's life
We were so tiny back there but those were out good old days
"I remember when we used to remind you both to keep that door open" Paula said making me chuckle as I stopped looking around the room
"Back when we were just two stupid kids madly in love" I chuckled and she nodded
"She's going to be okay James, have faith in our Riley. She's stronger then she looks" She smiled coming over to hug me
"I know she will be. I just can't believe I let this happen you know?" I tried to explain
"You weren't to know James. It could have happened at any point" She said trying to give me some sort of excuse but it wasn't going to work

I put the woman I love in danger and I refuse to let that continue, she won't be able to get out of my sight when she's back
I'll do whatever I have to to protect her, that's for sure. I can't even begin to explain what a reality check this has been

"guys!" We hear John call from downstairs
"They went to the flat, they have Lucas" He said making us all widen our eyes
"What about Riley?" I asked and his facial expression dropped
"There isn't any sign of her yet" He muttered
Come on Ri where are you?

Riley's POV

"get your ass up!" I hear the same voice yell once again, gently opening my eyes I see Lucas stood there with his evil smirk on his face
"Come with me" He said grabbing my arm
Not being awake enough, my legs couldn't keep up with him so I ended up being dragged most of the time
"In here" He growled pushing me into the abandoned basement downstairs to out flat
The landlord had told us not to use this storage space since it was too unstable and could collapse at any given moment
"I'll be back later for you" He said narrowing his eyes at me, he went to walk away but quickly turned back tying my hands and legs behind my back
"What are you doing" I cried
"Making sure you stay put" He said before taking out some duck tape to cover my mouth
Why was he doing this, I just don't understand

"Nathan! Kerry! Hey!" I hear Lucas' obnoxiously loud voice call 
"Hey man" Nathan replied, little did he know the demons that were hiding below
I know for a fact that if Nathan knew what was going on right now, and he found me. This could and would be the thing to end their friendship

It all went silent as the door slammed shut, whether I liked it or not I was stuck in this situation and there wasn't an end in sight. I just hope James knows that I'm not ignoring him, that I'm not running from him

"Lucas Daniels open up!" I hear someone yell banging so hard on the front door it sent concrete falling around me
It was shaking the entire complex
"What is going one" I hear Lucas say, as soon as the door opened I hear the movement of a lot of feet and Lucas swearing
"What is going on officer?" I hear Nathan ask
"Where is the girl" An officer yelled making me cry more
no matter how much I struggled, no matter how much I screamed they couldn't hear me
"What girl?" Nathan asked
"Riley Raymond. Where is she" Another person yelled
"Riley is in Toronto? She got a RO against Lucas. He hasn't seen her in months" Nathan said sounding confused
"No sir, he abducted Miss Raymond a week ago and we have footage of him forcing her on train to New York" A woman said

"Lucas what have you done" Nathan asked, he always tried to see the good in people but I bet he can't find any good in this situation
"Take him in! The rest of you spread out and search" An officer yelled
"She's got to be here somewhere" He continued
