Roses and Riots
AN: This one is very very different. I couldn't think of any good story ideas for this song as a whole, so I decided little vignettes of all my previous fics for this book so far would be a perfect way to close out this album.

"I can count all the stars!" Nini exclaimed to Ricky on the back dock of Camp Marigold.
"Oh I doubt that." Ricky teased her. They were currently sprawled out on the back dock far past the time that they were supposed to be back in their cabins. This is where they'd spent almost every night after Natalie caught them that first time. Most of the time, they would skip rocks, or play cards, or make out, or talk about life after camp, or simply cuddle. Tonight, Nini had the idea to stargaze to distract from the fact that he was leaving Montdammon to return home the next morning.
"I bet I can prove you wrong."
"I bet you can't."
"One... two... three... four... five..." Nini began, holding her finger up to the sky to keep track of which stars she was counting. Ricky, who was sick of Nini trying to ignore that he was leaving, decided to cut her off by reaching over and placing a long firm kiss on her mouth.
"Hey! You made me lose count!" Nini complained, but still leaned back in for another kiss.
"Neens, I'm leaving tomorrow, and you decided that counting the stars is more important?" Ricky asked, trying not to come off as desperate.
"I... just... I don't want to think about you leaving tomorrow. I'm gonna miss you so much." she whined, curling tightly into his side.
"You have my number. You'll call me as soon as you get home in a few days." he told her.
"But that's four days of me staying here in these mountains without you. God, I wish our camp sessions lined up."
"I know, I know. But think about it, you can call me every single night once you get back. It'll be like nothing has changed." He promised her.
"I guess..."
"And you'll be back next year right? I know I'll be."
"A chance to spend another full summer with you? Wouldn't give it up for anything."
They lay in silence for a few moments before Nini speaks up again.
"I was counting the stars because this is the last time I'll be underneath the same sky as you for a very long time." she whispered.
"I get it. I'm sorry I cut you off." Ricky apologized. "Continue counting."
"No. I want to stay here with you."
"Whatever you say. I'll wait with you until dawn."
"I wish I could stay with you forever."
"Me too. Until next summer." He mumbled, pressing a long kiss to her forehead.
"Until next summer."

I Know A Boy
Silence. Pure, perfect, peaceful, silence.
Ricky and Nini were laying in Nini's favorite field in Salt Lake. She felt Ricky's warm breath on her skin as they laid intertwined, covered in flowers and happiness. Ricky shifted slightly and picked one of the flowers next to her, placing it into her hair. She knew immediately that it was a rose. Roses were their flowers, a strong symbol of their relationship.
