How Do I Tell You?

She giggled quietly as welcoming arms were wrapped around her waist, feeling the love radiating from Ricky cuddling close to her.

This wasn't something she was used to. Every other relationship she'd ever had was rough, harsh, and boiling. She had never had something so sweet and careful. He held her like she was a porcelain doll, and it was exactly how she wanted to be treated. She had finally found someone who fit her every desire.

Ricky didn't know, of course, of her past. She never could tell him. She didn't know how to. How do you tell someone who means the world to you that they've never felt love like this before?

Sometimes Ricky will kiss her a bit too hard or squeeze her too tight in a hug, and he'll immediately trip over himself in apologies, claiming he never meant to hurt her, and that it'll never happen again. She didn't know how he knew exactly what to do, and how he was able to pick up on any sign of discomfort. He just knew, and she didn't have to tell him.

Ricky doesn't talk the way any of her other boyfriends did, by nitpicking her every move or complaining about almost all her actions. He told her how much he loved her every chance he got, he would whisper sweet nothings into her ear as they fell asleep each night, and would make her laugh with the simplest of jokes.

Ricky doesn't make her feel like shit. He praises her and makes her feel like a princess. He treats her well and it doesn't go unnoticed by her friends and family. Her moms like him more than anyone else she's been with. He brings her flowers before dates and pecks her cheek often. He doesn't play games with her, he is upfront with his feelings, and it's clear that she means a lot to him.

Ricky is her one true love. She's certain of it.

Nini is everything he ever wanted. All he wanted to do was be with someone, and take care of them. Nini lets him do that. None of his previous relationships allowed him to express his love and affection.

The last thing he wanted to do was make Nini feel overwhelmed with his actions, but she was receptive and accepted every gesture. He gets to know her more and more through each passing day, and he only falls for her harder.

Nini had no idea what made him like this, no one did. He wasn't even really sure himself. It most likely came from him never feeling love from his previous partners, and they always felt one-sided. He was finally in a place where the love was both given and received. All his other relationships were in it for hookups and free dinners, but what he had with Nini was real.

Nini was unaware of his past experiences. He wanted to tell her, but he didn't know how to. How do you tell them that you finally know what it means to be happy with somebody? And that you don't know anything like that?

Nini loves to place warm kisses on his neck, and he revels in the feeling. He's used to rough hickeys being left on his skin, but Nini simply leaves featherlight kisses that leave him a blushing mess. It's precisely what he wanted.

Nini helped him find his place.

However, both Ricky and Nini noticed how comfortable they became in their relationship, and they yearned for the next step.

They had become so accustomed to each other, that what was once scary, uncomfortable, and unstable, was now welcoming, comforting, and safe.

But how do they tell each other? They don't want to risk making the other feel weary, so they don't say anything.

Nini stood in her kitchen making dinner when she heard Ricky walk through the door.

He made his way to her and wrapped his arms loosely around her waist. He remembered that she tended to flinch when he hugged her too tight, so he made sure to keep his hugs fairly loose.

She could tell that he was holding back, and she wasn't afraid to receive more affection from him. He doesn't cause her pain like her other boyfriends. He hugs her tight because he loves her, not because he's trying to trap her. She grabs his wrists with her hands and pulls them tighter around her, and she sighed when the action only caused her to feel more of his warmth and love. He didn't pull away, he could tell that she wanted to feel this way. It didn't make her feel unsafe like it had in the past.

Ricky buried his face in the crook of her neck. Nini tilted her head to place kisses on his neck, making sure to stay nice and soft, and not go too much harder.

Ricky was lost in the pleasure she was giving him. He wanted desperately for her to kiss him harder, to feel more of the love she had for him. He was ready to feel that passionate feeling, especially since it would be coming from the person he adored more than anything else.

He brought his neck closer to her mouth, causing her kisses to become more intense. He hummed softly at the feeling, and Nini could tell he was enjoying it, so she didn't stop. Her kisses didn't feel rough and needy, they only felt loving and ardent.

Nini pulled his arms tighter around her, and Ricky brought himself closer to her.

They didn't have to tell each other. They both just knew.

And that was all the love they needed.

God, this was kind of ass. It's also a lot shorter than I wanted it to be. But I wanted to post this today because it's been a while. Anywho. Vote and comment!
