Happy Birthday Maddy! Tera username baar baar kho jata hai 😅

Wasn't going to post but this chapter wouldn't let me study peacefully....

~~~SHEHRYAAR's POV~~~
I tapped my foot on the carpeted floor out of nervousness while my phone constantly buzzed in my coat's pocket. Who is this impatient human calling me again and again while I am clearly not in the state of answering any calls? But then again, how would they know that I am in a meeting with one of the top film producer, hoping for him to finance my project?
Great ideas always go down the drain because some producers fail to see the potential in one's script. I hope that after being turned down by three producers, this one will finally see the real value of my story.
"Well mr Asif," mr Patel kept down his glasses and looked at me, "normally I don't take up the projects that have been rejected before."
"But sir-" I tried but, I was silenced by him as he got up from his high end office chair.
"But, I see the emotions and feelings that you are trying to express," he added, "and I am willing to take this chance. I will help you to turn this simple story into this year's best blockbuster!"
I jumped at instant and hugged the life out of the guy in front of me. Yeh story perfect kaise nahi hogi? Akhir uske liye jo likkhi hai..
"But, there is one condition!" Mr Patel dropped the bomb at me, "the shooting must be done at a real hill station and my daughter has suggested New Zealand."
Why that country? No way...
"But sir-"
"No buts mr Asif. New Zealand or no deal," he stated and I gave up. Waise bhi According to the movie's requirements- Auckland main na hi baraf girti hai aur na hi woh hill station hai. Asmaara se milakat hone ke koi chances hi nahi hein..
After some paperwork, I left the office and pulled out my phone. Hussain, my movie's star, should be the first one to know. There were already four missed calls from him. However, before I could dial his number, my phone buzzed again, flashing his name.
"Guess what just happened?" I yelled in excitement, "finally I have got a producer!"
"Oh what! That's amazing!" Hussain exclaimed from the other end. "Yeah! We should celebrate- how about a boys night out?" I suggested and heard a sigh from the other end.
"Sounds great! Exactly what I needed," I heard Hussain say in a low tone.
Did something happen again? Oh yes, he was the one calling me. Zaroor koi baat hai. Fir se jhagra hua hoga! Bachon ki tarhaan ladte hein dono- I swear.
"Actually how about a brother's night out? Have a lot to catch up on," I fixed the program without giving him a chance to speak and hung up. We will go clubbing, and then dine at Taj.
~~~AISHA's POV~~~

"So, what would you like? Chai coffee juice?" I asked as I welcomed Preet inside. She shook her head and reminded me, "no caffeine, remember?"

"Oh ho. Someone's being too careful," I smirked at her, passing her a glass of orange juice and she looked away. It was supposed to be a blush or a smile and not a frown.

"Hey- what happened?" I asked as I took a seat next to her.

And before she could say anything, I knew that she had another fight with Hussain. Since Hussain and Preet's marriage, Preet and I have been pretty close. We have been there for each other in not just happy times but tough times too and the way our friendship has improved over the years, I am proud of us.
