~~~PREET's POV~~~
The whole night I couldn't sleep properly- thinking that it might just be a dream- and when I woke up to find an empty bed, my heart sank in my stomach.
Now, I stood by the kitchen door, watching Hussain as he chopped some vegetables. What is he making? I don't know. All I care about is that he is here with me and it's not a dream.
I tiptoed over to Him and rested my head on his shoulder. "Good morning," I mumbled lazily and wrapped my arms around his bare torso. Hussain stepped away and turned around. He kissed me on my forehead and and smiled, "good morning, sweet heart!"
I blinked at his words, unable to take my eyes off his smiling face. Why can't he just stay like this forever? Pata nahi kabhi kabhi Hussain ko Kya ho jata hai? Huh.
"Checking me out, huh?" his voice snapped me out of my thoughts and I rolled my eyes. "Tum main check out karne Wala hai hi Kya?" I raised an eyebrow at him.
My plan was to tease and leave him hanging there but, his face was too adorable for me to look away. Hussain's intense gaze traveled to my lips and then at my face again, making my cheeks heat up. "Aise na dekho mujhe," I laughed nervously and he smirked.
Hussain took a step towards me and I moved back two. It happened again and again until my back was touching the wall.
"Kaise?" He asked, leaning in and I kept a hand on his chest. "Aise."
"Aise kaise?" His warm breath fanned my cheek as I looked away, blushing. Too much hotness to handle! Aaj itna romance kahaan se jaga?
Before I could even open my mouth to answer, his hands came on either side of me, trapping me between him and the wall. "Bolo na?" He whispered in my ear again and I found myself blushing even harder.
"Hussain," I called his name, trying my best to not let my heart explode. "Hmm," he murmured as his lips brushed against my jawline without really touching my skin. Ishh, he is making it hard for me to breath.
"Bolo?" He questioned again, touching the corners of my lips and when I failed to answer, he smiled against my skin.
"Hussain don't," I whispered, closing my eyes but, couldn't resist his soft lips when they crashed on mine. He cupped my cheeks as he deepened the kiss. I traced me hands upwards his bare chest and finally tangled my fingers in his silky soft hair, returning the kiss with much passion.
Hussain and I pulled away to breath and I buried my face in his chest while he kissed the top of my head.
"Oh Jesus!" I heard a scream and instantly pulled away. "Kathy?" I breathed as she turned around, "why here on a Sunday?"
"I.. I.. Left my phone here, darling," she stuttered, trying her best to ignore any sort of eye contact and I saw Hussain pressing his lips together. While he wanted to laugh, I wanted to run and hide somewhere.
Kathy is my maid but, more than just a maid. She is an elderly friend to me who only works here because she doesn't like staying alone at home. We share little things about life, talk out hearts out to each other and she always shows up when I really need her. I address her with much respect and her seeing us like this was just- ugh, I don't know. Awkward is one word for this; embarrassing is another. But, none of them fit perfectly for my situation.
Kathy quietly walked past us and pulled her phone out of one of the drawers. Before she could turn around, Hussain wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer. Kathy glanced at us and quickly looked away before running out of the kitchen.
