~~~ATIF's POV~~~
"Atif do na!" Aisha complained as I snatched the TV remote out of her hands. "Poora time serials- aur koi kaam nahi hai kya?"
"Kaam jaise?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Kabhi hamein bhi dekh liya karo," I complained while passing her the remote. But, Just then, she asked, "tum mein dekhne wala kya hai?" And I pulled the remote away.
Her grip on it was too tight that she lost her balance and fell on me. I fell back on the couch, staring at her scattered brown locks that now covered her face. She narrowed her eyes at me and pulled away. But, I wrapped my arms around her and held her in place.
"Kuch bhi nahi- I was just lucky that you chose me," I smiled at her.
I really am lucky!
She blinked at me. "Everything about you is perfect. I am the lucky one."
Aisha came closer. I felt my hands leaving her hips and moving towards her face. I cupped her soft cheeks while gently brushing my lips against her's. Suddenly she moved and pushed me away.
"Thanks for the remote!" She tease me and turned on the TV again.
Oh man!
"Remote Ki bachi- ruk zara!" I yelled and she jumped off the couch.
"Nahi- sorry baba!" She begged as I chased her around the living room and caught before she could go out in the garden, "choro please!"
"Nahi please!" She yelled while laughing as I lifted her off the ground and carried her to the bedroom. "Atif se panga abhi batata hoon!"
"Acha no TV promise!" She said between her laughs and I pinned her to the bed. I hovered over her and tickled her while she tried her best to free her hands.
"Tum seyr toh hum sawa seyr!" I smirked, lowering myself on her. Her laughing calmed down and now she just glared at me with a glint of mischief in her eyes.
This is my real Aisha.
Pagal si, pange lene wali, hamesha haanste rehne wali.
"I am so glad you are back," I whispered, slowly letting go off her hands. I rested my hands on either side of her tiny frame.
"Me too," she smiled, cupping my face, "thank you Atif."
Before I could reply to that, the landline rang. I could hear it in the background but, I chose to ignore it. "Thank you for trying and not leaving me," I sighed and she nodded.
I lowered myself and kissed her forehead. "Phone," she whispered and I shook my head. No please.
"Who gives? Bajne do," I suggested with a pout.
She giggled and ruffled my hair, "no it could be important."
I rolled my eyes, "nothing is more important than you and me."
"No what if it's Ami- Abu or Malaika?" She pushed me away and I huffed. "Fine!"
I heard her giggling as I walked back to the living room. "Hello?" I spoke.
