Once Emma broke the curse, we, the Charmings, were a family once again.Henry figured out that I am his aunt. When he figured it out the look on his face was so endearing and genuine. He gave me his beautiful bold smile declaring, “You knew it all along, didn’t you? You must have magic, too. That’s the only explanation, Aunt Eliza. Oh, is it okay to call you that?” I smiled and told him, “I have been waiting a long time to hear those words. You feel free to use that name anytime, Henry. It’s a welcome sound.”
Emma became Sheriff. Long story short, the election was unanimous. The people wanted Emma Swan to protect Storybrooke from all the dangers of this world. No one else knew the world better than her.
Mom and Dad became reunited. Just like old times. It seemed that for the first time in their lives, they could relax and enjoy their little family. They love each other as much as they did the second before the curse began. It seemed like time stopped. Mom and Dad have told me several times that, they remember like yesterday, Emma and I were born. They had to protect us from the curse, but with twins, and the tree only saving one, they had to save one and sacrifice the other. My father supposedly died sending Emma safely through the wardrobe. Mama told me that she held me as we wept over father’s body. When Regina came, she thought that she was in luck and would never have her curse broken. She laughed and told my mother that she would never have her happily ever after, but don’t fret, you won’t even remember that you loved Charming.
Henry couldn’t believe that the stories were true and he got to hear them first hand from his grandparents. He was super excited.
Today, my sister, nephew and I sit in Grannies dinner, a local restaurant. We have our usual meals. Henry cannot seem to get over the fact that Emma is his mother and I’m his aunt. It’s funny watching him react to our stories, because they are not in his story book. He keeps flipping through declaring that as daughters of Prince Charming and Snow White, our stories after the curse was released are in his story book. We laugh. As I look out the window, I see a strange man, dressed completely in black. He has a red low cut shirt, black leather full length coat, long black boots, a big gemmed belt buckle and several rings on his fingers. He suddenly lifts up his left hand and I see...a hook instead of a hand! Are my eyes deceiving me? Could this be the legendary Captain Hook? The man who owns the sea? The one that Jefferson hates talking about? I calmly ask Henry to look for the story of Captain Hook in his book. He does so, without question, and shows me a picture. The man I saw, and the picture I’m looking at right now are a perfect match. If what Jefferson says is true, Hook is never alone. His sister is not far behind. I tell Henry to stay where he is and ask Emma to come talk with me.
“Emma, I saw a man in black outside the diner roaming the street. Catch him. His name is Captain Hook. I don’t have time to explain. You need to catch him,” I say, very seriously.
“What? How am I going to catch a man with a hook? And even if I do catch him, where am I going to put him? A jail cell? back here to the diner,” Emma asks, a little skeptic but believing me.
“Meet back at the sheriff's station. put handcuffs on him, and get that hook off of him. We’ll meet back here. I need a pair of handcuffs. He has a sister, but I need to find her before we can continue this conversation,” I explain, reaching my hand out for the handcuffs.
Emma smirks and says, handing the cuffs to me, “Be safe. I’ll see you soon. HENRY, go back to Snow and Charming’s place. They will protect you.”
Henry stands up, and leaves the diner with LeRoy/ Grumpy.
I run to find the docks. Pirates have ships. The ship cannot be left alone unguarded. Who else better to guard the ship then your first mate and sister? I find a woman, dressed in black and wearing a pirate hat and boots, on the docks. She looks frustrated and a little confused. I calmly approach her; I have my gun on my hip in case I need it.
“Hello! Can I help you? I’m the Deputy Sheriff here. You look a little lost,” I say.
“ugg, I’m not lost. Thanks,” the woman says in a soft, shy voice.
“What’s you’re name? I’m Elizabeth Charming,” I say.
“None of your concern,” the woman replies, in a sharp demanding tone.
“What is your business here,” I ask, demandingly.
“The Captain is the only one who can answer that,” the woman replies, becoming hostile.
I pull my gun out on her and say, “You have no reason to be hostile. You are the one here, in my town, pirate. Now cooperate or I’ll make you,” I say, threateningly. Showing her that I run this town, not her.
“I’m sorry! I’m sorry! My brother is trying to teach to be a pirate, okay,” she replies, tears forming in her eyes.
“I’m placing you under arrest for obstruction of justice,” I reply, putting handcuffs on her.
She cries the whole time walking back to the sheriff’s station. I put her in the holding cell. Emma is not back yet. She might need back up. I text her cell phone, saying:
I’m here. I have the pirate sister, who’s not talking. Need back up?
