A way back home? How could Hook have decided to say something like that so publicly? I guess he has changed in many ways, just not in the way of announcing things. I should go and talk to him. Since this afternoon, everyone has come to ask me questions like, Can we really go home, and Can the Pirate be trusted. It has been a very long day indeed.

I find Hook at his usual place, the bar at Granny’s.

“Hook. We need to talk,” I say.

“What  did I do this time, mate,” Hook asks.

“You know that whole show you did to get Emma’s love? Yeah, never say something you don’t mean. You don’t have anyway out of here. There are no beans in existence. What were you thinking? It sure has been a long and disappointing day telling everyone that we have no way home. Don’t you know that you need to come to us with an idea, BEFORE you tell the town,” I say, frustrated.

“I did say what I mean. I found my boat. Can’t you trust me far enough on that, I am a pirate. I can find my boat, it’s my life, for Pete’s Sake! I have many things up my sleeves that you don’t know about,”Hook says, defensively.

“You need to tell me these things up your sleeves. I run this town, not you, or Regina. You can’t hide things from a leader who just wants everyone to be home and happy. If you really have a way of transportation, you need to tell me,” I say.

“My apologies, mate. I’ll tell everything, but after this drink. Perhaps you want to join me in a drink?” Hook says.

“Might as well, been a rough day,” I say.

After a beer or two, Hook decides to talk to me when he gets to his quarters. Whatever that means. I follow him onto his ship, with his sailors asking what to do. He waves them away.

“We can freely talk here, without being overheard or interrupted,” Hook says.

I nod and give him the hand signal to keep talking.

“Well, when you were away, I decided I needed to find my boat and crew. I had no clue all the things that I needed was under a concealment spell. I had to have Regina use magic, and then the boat had shown itself. I have three Magic Beans in a pouch, with me at all times. However, there is one problem, I need more than three to get the job to take everyone back done. There is actually enough room for a small town, such as Storybrooke, to have a place to stay and live comfortably for a few weeks,” Hook says.

“Interesting. So, you mean to say that you have your ship back,” I start.

“Obviously,” Hook interrupts.

“And that you can fit the whole town of Storybrooke on the ship, in order to return them home,” I continue.

“Aye. I just stated that like two seconds ago. Bloody Hell, I sound just like Swan. She’s worn off on me,” Hook says, a bit too dramatically.

Rolling my eyes I continue, “The problem is that you only have three magic beans. How many do you need to return everyone back home?”

“Well, I’m only one or two short, but I’d like to have extra for myself, for business of course,” Hook says.

“Great. How are we going to get those beans,” I say, more to myself than to Hook.
