LOVESICK

"I don't like this, Derek."

Andrea stood in Derek's loft, with her arms across her chest as she leaned against one of the pillars in his loft. She stared at the man in front of her, an exasperated look was written all over her face.

"I know you don't," Derek said through a sigh, turning his body around to look at the girl. "But you have to go, Andrea. Go to school. Go be a teenager."

"I don't know if I can even think," the girl admitted. "Not when he's still out there. God knows where."

"I'm still going to search for him," the Alpha moved closer to her, placing a hand on her shoulder to calm the girl down. "You can't just put your life on hold. We'll find him. But right now, you gotta go to school."

Andrea stared into those hazel green eyes for a few seconds, until she finally gave in. Sighing as she stood up straighter, "Call me when you have something."

"I will," he replied as she got out of his loft.

Andrea rode the motorcycle she borrowed from Nathan, who was practically hers since she used it so much. Nathan didn't mind, though. As long as his baby wasn't hurt, he was fine with Andrea using it.

This was the first day of school. And she usually loved first days of school, but not this year. She had too much going on in her mind to be excited for the first day. Between Isaac going missing, Boyd and Erica being captured, the Alpha Pack planning to attack her and her friends—no one could really blame Andrea for not being too happy.

"Andy?" the familiar voice called out the second Andrea took off her helmet, making her spun around only to find two familiar figures making their way to the girl.

A smile creeped its way to the girl's face as a warm feeling began to spread her chest. It was the first time in weeks she had laid eyes on the two girls, Lydia Martin and Allison Argent. Lydia was the first to wrap her arms around Andrea's body, followed by Allison the second the strawberry blonde finally let go.

The three girls kept in touch over the summer through group chats and calls, at first because they wanted to fill Lydia in on the supernatural world. But as time progressed, the three became closer and closer.

"How come you didn't tell us you were back?"

Lydia's question made the smile on Andrea's face disappear, she'd forgotten to tell any of her friends that she was back. But thankfully, the girl's smile came back just as fast.

"I just wanted to surprise you," she shrugged, lying at the two girls. She'd promised Derek that she won't tell anyone about the Alpha Pack, only because it was his problem and not anyone else's. "I missed you guys."
