NOGITSUNE

"SHE'S a kitsune? You've gotta be kidding me."

Andrea was sitting on the sofa at her place, frowning at the information that she was just given by her brother. The two were talking about what Kira was, and apparently, the girl was a kitsune.

Truth be told, Andrea wasn't even sure that they existed. Most kitsunes could hide their foxes from other supernatural beings very well, which was why the girl had never seen one before.

"That's what Lucas told me," Nathan stated through a sigh. "I seriously don't get how there could be so many supernatural creatures in Beacon Hills. Werewolf, werejaguar, werecoyote, kitsune, kanima. What next, a wendigo?"

A sudden buzz came from her phone, signaling the income of a text. Unsurprisingly, the text came from Scott, who needed her help.

SCOTT
can you get to my house before sundown?
trying to protect Kira from those things, and I need your help incase they can walk past mountain ash.
and bring Nathan, mom's not home and I need him to set off the mountain ash.

"Come on," Nathan instantly said, pulling the girl up onto her feet.

She narrowed her eyes at him, "Were you peeking at my text?"

He shrugged, "Maybe."

"That's not okay, man," Andrea playfully hit her brother's arm, knowing if she went full force a bone or two would be broken. "What if it was something private or—"

"Relax," he sighed. "I never see any of your texts with Isaac. And not planning to do it anytime soon."

The girl let out a laugh as she plopped down on the motorcycle, with Nathan getting ready in front of her. He had managed to grab a few emergency weapons from the trunk of the car, not wanting to go there completely weaponless—though weaponless in his books was having two daggers, two throwing knifes, and a gun.

They managed to get to the McCall household just in time to see Melissa getting off of her car, giving them a slight smile upon noticing their arrival.

"Dad, let me help you out. You need to leave," Scott's voice was the first thing Andrea heard, even when she was still seated on the motorcycle.

"I will," and if Andrea wasn't mistaken, that was Agent Rafael McCall's voice. "With a satisfactory explanation."

"Go get a warrant."

"I don't need a warrant, I'm your father."

"No, you're a gene donor. I got my hair color from you, and that's all I got. So you're not allowed to play tough-dad with me."
