SACRIFICE

"IT has to be on a telluric current, or maybe even at the axis of two, or where they all intersect. I just know it's where Derek took Paige to die."

Everyone had gathered around the exam table in Beacon Hills Animal Clinic, discussing a plan to locate the Nemeton.

Andrea and Lydia tried going to Peter and Derek the other day, but it seemed like they weren't going to be any help because Talia—Derek's mother—had taken their memories of the place away. While Nathan and Isaac's plan to find the Nemeton in a more traditional way didn't work, the Nemeton didn't want to be found by the two males.

"My dad and Gerard were there, once," Allison muttered, placing both of her hands on the table as she shook her head. "But Gerard said it was years ago and he couldn't remember where it was. And my dad obviously isn't here to tell us now."

Stiles nodded, "Yeah, mine either."

"Then how do we find this place?" Isaac spoke up from the back, finally opening his mouth after minutes of silence.

"There might be a way," Deaton spoke up, earning everyone's attention. "But it's dangerous. We're gonna need Scott."

"Dangerous?" Lucas furrowed his eyebrows, not liking the sound of it. "How dangerous are we talking right now?"

"There's a big chance that you might die," the man answered hesitantly. "A really big chance."

Andrea watched how worried the man seemed to get and it instantly struck her.

She was a werejaguar, her kinds were known for their rituals. Though the ritual that he was talking about wasn't usually performed by her kind, she know enough to realize how dangerous it was.

"You can't," the girl shook her head sternly, her eyes locked on the older man. "There's gotta be another way. You can't do this."

"If it's about us dying—"

"It's not just that!" Andrea snapped, cutting off the Argent girl before shifting her gaze back to the man. "Deaton, you and I both know that this is a bad idea."

"Sadly, it might be the only way," the veterinarian muttered.

"Come on, Dee," Nathan spoke up from behind her. "What if we have to?"

"No way, Nate," the girl insisted. "No way."

"Andrea, you don't know what you're talking abou—"
