BEST FRIEND

"DEE."

The girl who was about to step out of the house was startled by the voice calling out her name from the living room, making Andrea spun around only to find her older brother sitting on the sofa, his eyes locked on her.

"Hey!" Andrea greeted, a little too cheery. "What are you doing?"

"What are you doing?" he asked, eyebrows raised.

"Uh, nothing," she shook her head. "I was just going to meet Isaac."

That, of course, was a big fat lie.

Andrea was going to go to Derek's loft to discuss a plan to get Erica and Boyd out of the Beacon Hills First National Bank, because tonight was the full moon. And if what Peter said was correct, than Deucalion was going to do something to them tonight.

She didn't want Nathan to know, mainly because the two made a deal of not interfering with supernatural problems. Though he'd accepted Andrea being a werejaguar with all of his heart, he still didn't want her butting into the other problems in the supernatural world because they were far too dangerous.

"Really?"

"Yeah," she nodded.

"So you're not trying to fight an Alpha Pack that's in town?"

Andrea's eyes went wide almost immediately. How did her brother even find out? She never told him, she never even gave him a hint that something was happening. Nothing.

"How do you know?" she questioned, her expression filled with confusion and surprise.

Nathan stood up, making his way to Andrea only to stop just a few feet in front of her, leaning against the wall with arms crossing his chest, "Let's just say I have my ways."

"Nate, please," Andrea began, but before she managed to continue, Nathan had already interrupted the girl.

"I thought we agreed to not butt our heads in those kind of stuff," he reminded her. "What happened to living a normal werejaguar life?"

She rolled her eyes, "Oh, come on. There's no normal werejaguar life. There's no normal life when you're supernatural."

"You know," he began, sounding as if he wanted to tell a tale or something, "there's this kid in Devenport Prep. A real sick lacrosse player, what people didn't know is that he's a werewolf too. Look at him, he doesn't butt in other supernatural problems. He just lives his life."
