COUP DE MAIN
SHE stood around the square table inside of Derek's loft, discussing a plan to go after Deucalion. Along with Cora, Boyd, Peter, Lucas, and of course ... her Alpha, Derek Hale.
Isaac was no where to be seen. He was still feeling hurt and bitter by what Derek had done, and Andrea couldn't really blame him. He was angry because he didn't know what actually happened, and the Alpha was in the wrong for not telling him everything.
But Andrea couldn't really blame Derek either. He wanted to protect Isaac, to prevent what happened to Erica to happen to the curly haired boy. Maybe his way of doing it was wrong, but he had good intentions.
Scott—who was supposed to be here—was also no where to be seen. He had texted her an hour ago, telling her that he would be right there after he finished doing an errand. If she was being honest, he was acting kind of suspicious. But she chose to not ask any questions.
"Are you sure this is going to be a good plan?" Andrea questioned, her eyes glanced around to see everyone that stood around the table. "You're seriously going to kill Deucalion?"
"Yes, we are, Andrea," Derek breathed out, seemingly irritated by the girl.
"You can't kill Deucalion," she stated matter-of-factly. "And I'm not saying you shouldn't kill him—because if you can, go for it. I'm saying you don't have the power to do that."
Boyd let out a long sigh, "Andy—"
Before Boyd could finish, the girl had interrupted him, "You do understand that he's the Alpha of Alphas, right? He killed his own Betas to gain his powers, plus he has a pack of Alphas backing him up. And all we got is an Alpha who doesn't stand a chance against any of them, a werejaguar, four Betas—because Derek chose to kick Isaac out, thank you very much. And a former Alpha who's barely up to fighting speed—no offense, Peter."
The eldest Hale only shrugged, "None taken."
"If you're not going to help, then leave," Cora spat, anger written all over the Hale girl's tone and face. "We don't need you. You're just some know-it-all kid who's useless to us."
Andrea rolled the comment off of her back quickly, knowing that Cora was saying that only because the girl didn't know her. And in that moment, she really seemed like Derek's sister.
Lucas on the other hand had glared at Cora, standing up straighter as he hover over the girl, "You talk about her like that one more time, you're gone. I don't care who you are, you're gone, you hear me?"
