WRATHFUL DEITIES

IT had been a quiet few days in Beacon Hills. And everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves without all the threats and deaths, Andrea included.

Though she was overly excited for the day, because Lucas' mother—Ava Davis—was scheduled to arrive today. And so here she stood, in the airport waiting for the familiar woman to make her appearance.

She waited with Isaac by her side, because she and Ava had agreed to give Lucas a surprise. The curly haired boy chuckled when seeing Andrea, seemingly realizing how excited and happy she was, "Calm down, Andy."

Andrea furrowed her brows, "What are you even talking about? I'm calm as hell."

Isaac raised an eyebrow in disbelief, "Sure. Whatever you say."

"I hate you," she mumbled, hitting his arm lightly.

"No, you don't," he shook his head. "You love me."

"Maybe I do," she shrugged. "But not at the moment."

The Lahey boy rolled his eyes, "Keep telling yourself that."

"Andy!"

The sound of her name being called by a familiar voice made the girl spun around only to find a brown haired woman strolling toward her, a handbag on one hand and a suitcase on the other.

Upon seeing the woman, Andrea instantly let out a loud shriek. The girl rushed toward the woman in full speed—ignoring Isaac's shout for her to be careful—and jumped into her arms.

"I missed you!" Andrea exclaimed, finally letting go of Ava after a few seconds.

The woman chuckled, "I missed you too, Andy."

Ava's hand traveled to her side, wanting to hold her suitcase when Isaac's familiar voice came up from behind Andrea, "Oh, let me take that, ma'am."

Ava furrowed her brows at the sight of Isaac, glancing at Andrea for a few seconds before returning her gaze back to the boy, "Thank you ..."

"Isaac," he quickly answered. "Isaac Lahey."

"Well, thank you Isaac," she gave him a sweet smile. "And please, don't call me ma'am. I haven't even hit forty yet."

Ava didn't just look young, she was young. The woman had Lucas at such a young age, and managed to raise him all on her own. That was one of the reasons why Andrea was such in awe of the woman.

"Shall we?" Ava asked, raising an eyebrow at the couple.

"Yeah, sure," Andrea nodded. "Let's go."

The woman had linked her arm around the girl's as Isaac walked a few steps in front of them, with eyes wide she asked, "That's Isaac? The Isaac that you've been talking about?"
