TRAPPED GIRL

"SO you're telling me that there's a girl trapped in a coyote's body?"

Andrea's brow furrowed after hearing the story from Lucas about what had happened the night before. The two was sitting on Andrea's bed, with the boy telling her about how he went with Stiles and Scott to find Malia's body, only to find a coyote with a set of glowing blue eyes.

"She's like me, Andy," Lucas stated, seemingly intrigued and also worried about the girl he saw that night. "But she's stuck. She can't turn back."

"Maybe she never learn how to turn back," Andrea took a guess. "I mean, it makes sense. She was young, maybe it was her first full moon. She lost control and made the mom crash, then she blamed herself and went running into the woods."

"That's exactly what we thought," he sighed, laying his body down on the bed frustratedly. "Have you heard from Derek?"

The girl shook her head, "He's been MIA for days. I've been trying to reach him, but no luck. Have you tried Cora?"

"I have," he muttered. "She said that he left a week ago. He should be here by now."

Scott needed the former Alpha's help with turning Malia back into a human. But unfortunately for them, the man had been unreachable for days-Andrea even tried emailing him because of how worried she was, but it was a dead end.

"So what do we do?" Andrea asked, frowning.

"For now? School," the voice came from the door to the girl's room, making the two of them look toward it only to find Nathan leaning against the doorframe. "You can worry about the coyote later."

Lucas furrowed his brows, "You know about-"

"Malia?" the older raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, I do. Stiles called to explain what happened last night. And I saw you sneak out."

"Guess you aren't as stealthy as you thought."

Andrea's comment successfully made her earn a hard smack to the head from her best friend, making her groan and threw a glare at the boy. But before she could do anything in return, the boy had scurried his way out of her room.

The three students finally went on their way to school and arriving merely minutes later. The whole ride there was filled with theories after theories about Malia-though Nathan seemed to not want to talk about it.

"Here's where we found the den. It's right in the middle of the hiking trails."

Stiles was showing Allison and Andrea the map of the preserve from his tablet, referring to Malia's den that they found not too long ago.
