SOMEONE YOU KNEW

ANDREA leaned against a tree, trying to catch her breath while going after Lucas.

After what happened in the vault, they all had decided to go on their separate ways—while Nathan had gone to drop Erica's body in Derek's loft first before going after them with his motorcycle.

The girl had managed to catch up with Lucas and the two fought for a little while before the boy threw her into a tree, making her lost him.

Her phone suddenly buzzed, an incoming conference call with Scott and Derek. Instantly, she picked up, and announced, "I lost him."

Derek sighed exasperatedly, "What about you, Scott?"

"I lost him too," he admitted. "Well, I kind of had to."

"Wasn't exactly the plan."

"Yeah, we know," the girl muttered. "Seriously, though. I don't know about you guys, but I don't think I can take him by myself."

"I agree," Scott piped up. "Which is why I think that we should stick together. Trust me—they're too strong, too fast, and way too angry for one person to handle. We've got to do this together."

"Look, I'm at the trails by the entrance to the preserve," Derek informed. "Can you meet me here?"

"Yeah. Just got to drop something off first," Scott said before he hung up on his two friends.

Andrea on the other hand, didn't need to do anything first. And in a matter of minutes, she'd made it to Derek who was still alone. Minutes later, Scott joined them, and the three began running.

They stopped after what it felt like hours to Andrea—who wasn't the biggest fan of running even though she was a werejaguar—their eyes glued to the ground, noticing a set of footprints on the dirt.

"Is it them?" Scott questioned.

Derek nodded, "We're not the only ones that decided to stick together."

"Is that gonna make it easier or harder to catch them?"

"Catch them? Easier," Andrea glanced at her friend with a grim look. "Fight them? That's a different story."

"Derek," Scott cautiously made his way to the Alpha. "I saw Boyd try to rip two little kids apart. Are they gonna do that to everyone that they find?"

"Everyone and anyone."

And with that, Derek began to walk away. Until set of feminine screams were heard from their left, making them take off running to the direction of the sound. By the time they had arrived there, they saw Isaac being thrown against a tree by Cora.
