━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━FIGHT BACK
"WHERE are you going?" Andrea asked, frowning when seeing her best friend making his way out of the house, a helmet on one hand and a phone on the other. "I thought you have free period."
"Scott wants me to do an errand for him," he replied quickly. Just as he walked toward the front door of the house, the girl rushed toward him. She stood in the entrance, stopping him from going anywhere.
"Scott wants you to do an errand for him?" she repeated just to be sure. "You?"
The Davis boy groaned in frustration, "Yes. Can I go now?"
She narrowed her eyes at him, "Where?"
"Allison's."
"Allison's," the Laurent girl crossed an arm over her chest, her forehead creased. "Huh, that's interesting."
Lucas furrowed his brows when hearing the girl's comment, "What's interesting?"
"Nothing," she shrugged. "I just didn't know you guys were friends."
"Who? Scott?"
"Allison, you dumbass," Andrea stated as she pushed his shoulder lightly. Then she finally stepped away from the front door to let him pass. "Don't get into too much trouble."
He smirked, an eyebrow raised while making his way out of the room, "When have I gotten into trouble, Andy?"
But Andrea didn't get a chance to reply to him because in a matter of seconds he had already drove away in Nathan's motorcycle. She giggled, shaking her head as she closed the front door and head back to the kitchen where she was making breakfast.
The girl's mind traveled back to her best friend, who she knew like the back of her hand. She might not have seen him for over a year, but she could sense something about him that morning.
Which was how he acted slightly off.
Though it wasn't the bad kind of off, he was just ... different. There was something about the way he talked of Allison that made her wonder. It was almost like—
"Hey."
The voice successfully shattered the girl's thoughts, making her jump and spun around while grabbing a knife that laid not far from her. A wave of relief crashed onto her when seeing that it was a particular curly haired boy that was none other than her boyfriend, Isaac.
The boy chuckled, "What are you even supposed to do with a kitchen knife, Andy? You have claws."
"I thought you were a robber," Andrea muttered, placing the knife back to its place. "How the hell did you even get in?"
