Justin and I decided that we would spend Thanksgiving in Canada this year. It was important that his family got to know the family that we created. We were staying at the lake house he bought. It was truly beautiful but it definitely cold here. The children were asleep including Elisa. I decided to enjoy the scenery while the chef-prepared dinner. I was a little bumed that I would be missing out on the big Taylor thanksgiving feast. All of my family were flying in from all over to eat at the family house, but it was time for me to start new traditions with Justin and his family.

"Hey, I brought you out some hot chocolate, you looked cold," Justin smiles standing next to me. "You are too kind baby," I smile puckering my lips for a kiss. "It's so beautiful out here even though it's all covered in snow," he says. "I feel like it makes it that much more perfect," I smile. "You know what makes it even more perfect?" he asks looking at me with a bright smile. "What?" I ask smiling at his smile. "Having you here to experience it with me. "I'm so glad I get to experience your hometown and meet your family," I wrap my arm around him.

"They're nothing like your family but I know they'll love you almost as much as I love you. They are also excited to see the kids too so I think overall this will be a great experience," he tells me. "What time is everyone getting here?" I ask sipping the hot chocolate. "I told everyone 4:30," he shrugs. "You don't feel like it's, early babe?" I ask him.

"Only your family eats after 5," he jokes nudging me. "Boy fuck you," I laugh at him. "Are you missing your family?" he asks me. I sigh a little because I missed them so much and the holidays were our favorite. "Yeah, but it's not a huge deal," I shrug it off. "You don't have to downplay your feelings. I understand how all of this is new for you," he kisses the top of my head and pulls me closer

"It's my first holiday without them," I tell him. "I know but I promise it will be extra special. Now let's go inside it's freezing and I want us to watch a Christmas movie together while the kids are still asleep," he guides me into the house. The food smelled amazing and the warmth of the house, made it feel like home. Ming called my phone with a smile on her face.

"You look happy," I laugh settling in on top of Justin on the couch. "I finally told Mike about the baby, and he wants us to keep it," she smiles. "What baby?" Justin asks. "You guys are going to be God-parents," Ming beams as I put Justin's face in the camera. "Really?" he gets excited and she nods. "A house full of kids," he smiles.

"That's the other thing, he wants me to move in with him," she gives me a skeptical look. "As much as I want you to stay with me. I want you to do what's best for you," I pout. "You are the best best friend a girl could ask for," she blows me a kiss. "My life has been processing and so should yours," I tell her.

"Just promise we still see each other every day," I hold my pinky out. "I promise, you know I can't stay away from you for long. It's giving me anxiety to even know you're in Canada. Mommy has been talking about how you're missing this year's Thanksgiving," she laughs.

"I know but I am getting to know my new family," I remind her. "It's been a long time coming," she jokes. "Also I am announcing the pregnancy to the family tonight at dinner," she says. "His Mike's family coming over too?" I ask her. "Yeah, we are all meeting for the first time," she smiles. "Look at us both making big girl moves," I laugh.

"Yeah, life is changing but in a good way. I love you and I will call you later, Mike just came home from work and he wants to spend time together," she smirks. "Okay I love you more," I say before hanging up. "Babe we already watched Home Alone," I whine. "You're going to sleep in ten minutes, I don't know why you're complaining," he tickles me. "I will not be sleeping," I laugh squirming in his arms.
