"Damn it, damn it, damn it!" Dean yelled, slamming his fist against the steering wheel. He ran his hands through his hair, internally screaming. He drove back to the motel, praying that by some luck, Shane wouldn't have left yet.
As he drove, he tried to calm himself down. He needed to formulate a plan. He needed to figure out how to beat this thing. He couldn't lose Shane, but he absolutley could not lose Sam. He would find a way to beat this thing. He wouldn't let it beat him. He wouldn't let it take anything from him.
He arrived at the motel, and, unsurprisingly, Sam and Shane were gone. The only trace being a small splatter of blood on the floor. Dean sighed. Raking his fingers through his hair in frustration. He had to think. He had to come up with an idea.
And he had to do it fast.

Sam opened his eyes slowly, the pain in his head almost too much to bear. His vision was blurry, but he could just make out faint, flickering, yellow lights scattered across the seemingly spacious room. He blinked hard, squinting his eyes shut, trying to clear up his vision.
The floor beneath Sam was cold. It felt like stone... concrete he assumed. He tried to move his arms and legs, but something caught them. Sam heard the metalic whir of an elevator followed by the soft thud of chunky heeled shoes hitting the concrete floor.
He tried to clear his vision. Everything was so blurry and there was a buzzing in his ears. He could see a small figure walking about the vast, empty room. There was a small swishing motion going along with the shape, but he couldn't tell anything else.
"You're finally awake, huh, Sammy?" The voice was female. Cold as ice. "It took you long enough. I expected more from you."
There was a scratching sound, like someone dragging a wooden chair along the floor. The shape settled in front of Sam, and his vision finally began clearing up. He forced his heavy, aching head to look up. There she was, Shane, sitting directly in front of him, cockily leaning forward on a wooden chair.
"Hi, Sammy. Did you miss me?"
"Shane? Wh-"
Shane laughed. "What? You want to ask questions? I'm not in the mood, Sam. I'm not in the mood to stay around and chat. I've got work to do."
"What's that," Sam croaked.
"Why would I tell you now, when I can tell you when Dean gets here? I know he'll come to save you, Sam. I'll hold off till I have you both tied up, begging for your lives. That's when I'll tell you."
