Chapter 26

Ever since I told mateo I was pregnant he's been super gentle and patient.

He walked into class with a plastic bag filled with snacks. He pulled out a water. "Here drink this, I read that a pregnant person should drink lots of water. Plus don't want you to get dehydrated." I smiled at him.

"You read about pregnancy?" I asked in awe, he nervously shrugged.

"Just been doing my research so I know the best way to take care of you. Don't worry you're in good hands."

"I never once thought I wasn't." He gave me a big goofy grin.

"And if you get hungry durning class I have a bunch of different snacks Incase some gross you out."

"Mateo you're too sweet to me."

"You're smile is too sweet." He said, I kissed his cheek.

"Thank you."

"Don't thank me, just doing my best to help out." He said with a big grin.

A Few Days Later

I'm officially two months pregnant, never thought I'd say that.

I was hanging out with all my cousins at my grandparents house. "So what y'all wanna watch?" They asked, I shrugged.

"Let's watch Halloween kills!" Gunner shouted, Nico rolled his eyes.

"Halloween was last month dipshit!" (Two months ago now) Nevaeh smacked the back of nicos head.

"Don't call him a dipshit, dipshit!" She yelled, I laughed.

"Everyone calm down! yea it was last month but we haven't got a chance to watch it, because someone's been too busy with their little boyfriend.." everyone turned and looked at me.

"Hey, what about Silv?" I asked, she rolled her eyes.

"They're used to me doing it, but not you bro." She said, I shook my head.

"Well I'm sorry you guys, I promise to make more time for you." I said.

"Sure you will.." Diego quietly muttered.

"I will, watch."

"So Halloween kills?" Damien asked, remote in hand. We nodded.

"Okay everyone shut the hell up now." Bronx said.

We were about 30 minutes into the movie when mom walked through the door. "Hey kids, I'm going out with a friend. Dinners in the fridge, I made it earlier!" He quickly shouted as he ran up the stairs to get ready.

I still wonder who he's seeing.

I placed my attention back to the movie.

He then came back down after 10 minutes. He came in front of the tv and paused it. "How do I look?" He asked.

"Mom you look beautiful as always." He kissed the top of my head.

"Yea you really do." Blair said, we all agreed.

"Oh thank you kids! well behave, I'll be back before 12." He said and left.

"Did your mom ever say who the mystery man is?" Damien asked, Silvia and I shook our heads.

"No not yet, why?" She asked.

"just asking, someone unpause the movie." All thought of mom's mystery boyfriend left our heads as we continued watching.

They Next Day

At about 4:30 am I was woken up by a loud noise, I quickly sat up. Are we being robbed right now? Oh god! And then I heard laughing, it was mom. I let out a sigh of relief, and kicked off my blanket.

I left my room and went over to the stairs. "Mom you good?" I shouted from the top, he must've went to the kitchen. I faintly heard a man's voice.

"Yes sweetie, go back to bed!" He drunkly shouted. I shrugged my shoulders, he sounded happy so?

I laid back in bed. So mystery man is finally here. I'm definitely going back to sleep before they make their way up to moms room. I shuddered at the thought.

Later On That Morning

I yawned as I opened my eyes. I grabbed my phone to check the time 8:30. Damn I'm up early on a Sunday.

I got out of bed and headed downstairs.

Mom probably won't be up for another few hours, so I decided to make myself some toast.

I sat at the table while I waited, scrolling  through my phone.

Mateo texted asking how I was feeling, he's so sweet.

Not me falling in love when we aren't even together, omgg. I shook my head at my own thoughts.

Just then I heard someone coming down the stairs. I thought it was Silvia but the person that walked in left me in pure shock. I gasped so loud.

What the hell is going on?!

"What are you doing here?!" I yelled.
