Chapter 31

_Third person pov_

Mateo ran to Sage's house as fast as he could, he trusted Sage enough to believe his dad knew what to do. Mateo wasn't the type of guy to cry often, but he definitely was in this moment. He felt like he was on the verge of a panic attack as he raced down the block.

He finally made it to the house and pounded on the door.

_Inside The House Pov_

"Open the door!" Bronx shouted at one of his family members.

"It's probably Sage, he left school early, maybe he was making out with Mateo, he knows we were supposed to have a movie night after schoo-" Blair was cut off when she heard the pure screams coming from the other side of the door.

Silvia jumped up and ran towards it, but before she could open the door it was swung open by a panicking Mateo. Everyone grew shocked to see the tears and snot running down his face. "Mateo? What are you doing here?" She asked.

_Third Person Pov_

"Where's your mom!" He shouted, he remembers Silvia from when he was hanging out with Sage one day, and he introduced them to each other.

"Where's Sage is he with you?" Blair asked, the room grew quiet when Mateo shook his head.

"Well where is he?" Damien asked.

"I'm sorry but I don't have time for fucking questions! Silvia your mom?!" He shouted. She pointed to the kitchen door.

But then his mom emerged from the pushing door and came into the living room. "What's going on out here?" He asked.

She looked at mateo, and gasped. "Honey what's wrong?" He asked.

"Sage.... Please call his dad!" Mateo shouted, Sage's moms eyes grew wide.

He instantly pulled out the phone and pressed his ex husbands contact. The phone was put on speaker, it rung twice before he picked it up. "Jamie?" He asked. Jamie shakily put the phone closer to mateo.

Mateos breathing was shaky. "Please the man was following us I think he took Sage, we were on the phone and I was running to go get him but the man he showed up and... Sage stopped talking. He told me to call you and tell you it's Gabriel, please we have to fucking do something!" Mateo shouted faster than he ever did in his life. The rest of them looked shocked.

Silvia started crying along with her mother." Jax get your ass down here now!" Jamie shouted into the phone.

"I'm already in the car, I'll be there in 2!" He said and hung up.

"let's get you something to drink and some tissue." Mateo shook his head.

"No I'm fine, we just need to worry about Sage." He said.

"Thank you but there's nothing we can do right now until Jax gets here." Mateo gave in and followed Sages mom to the kitchen, some of his cousins and Silvia following along.

"I'm sorry I tried to get to him as fast as I could, but they were too quick." Mateo said, Jamie shook his head.

"No if it weren't for you we wouldn't even have known what happened to him. So thank you for trying to protect my baby." Mateo took a sip of the water Sage's mom handed him.

And then Jax came barging into the house. They went into the living room to see him standing there panicked. "I've already called some of my men, we think we know where he's taking him." Jax said.

"You think?!" Jamie shouted.

"We're gonna look everywhere until we find him okay?" Jax said, Jamie's mom left out a shaky sigh.

"Ok." He nodded.

"Why don't you kids head home, we'll let you know if we find anything out." They shook their heads.

"No we can help." Bronx said, Jax's dad shook his head.

"No you guys need to stay safe, you have no idea what these men are capable of, so please." Jax said, they gave in and left.

Outside

"Are we really just gonna sit back and possibly let Jamie get hurt?" Damien asked, Bronx shook his head.

"Hell no, Damien let's go."

"We wanna go too!" Bronx shook his head and Penelope and gunners request.

"Hell fucking no, go inside."

"Well I'm coming with!" Liam said.

"Yeah me too!" Bellamy shouted, Bronx rolled his eyes.

"If y'all are going so am I." Diego shouted.

Bronx sighed and then nodded. "Get in!" He yelled, and then they quickly took off.

Blair was crying as she walked back to her house . "Wanna hangout as my house?" Claire asked, Blair nodded.

"Yea you guys should come over.." Luna quietly said.

Nevaeh, Blair, Penelope, Camila, zaid, and Marcella walked to their house with them.

"Hey what about us?" Julien asked his sister.

"Come one on you two, maybe we can distract ourselves by watching a movie." Claire said to Julien and Gunner.

The older boys split into five and went looking looking for Sage, while the girls and younger two boys went inside the house to distract themselves. Even though they knew it was going to be hard to do, some of them cried as they walked to the house in silence.

_Back Inside_

Silvia and Mateo stayed. "Not to be disrespectful but I'm not staying out of this, I'm sorry but I love Sage and that baby too much." Jax's dad nodded.

"I understand, I once knew what it was like." Jax said as he looks towards Jamie.

"What are we gonna do?" Jamie cried out. He just wanted this baby back.

"If they don't call in the next five minutes I'm getting in the car and finding him myself." Jax said.

Silvia rubbed her moms shoulder as they both cried. "Dad please, we can't waste time who knows what they're gonna do. Why him?!" Silvia said, Jax lowered his head.

"I..I don't know, sweetheart." But he definitely knew, but was he ready to reveal it all to them? Not yet, they need time to process this information. Plus they don't need anymore surprising news right now. Besides all Jax is worried about is his baby coming home safe.

Goddamnit Gabriel where the hell did you take my boy?!
