Two Days Later

"I don't understand why they're forcing us to go to school." Blair whined.

"Exactly how can we just sit back and wait, I'm so tired of waiting." Damien chimed in, the rest nodded.

Mateo was walking to class. "Hey Mateo, your parents are forcing you to come to school too?" Bellamy asked, he nodded.

"Yeah my mom is, but how am I supposed to get any work done when all I can think about is Sage?" He said.

"Let me know when you find out, because we're all feeling the same way." Mateo nodded and walked to class.

The first class was Mr. Moores. He rolled his eyes and took a seat in the back, preparing himself to not learn an ounce of education today, like all the other days.

"Good morning class, pull out your books and catch up on some reading for tomorrows quiz." The class groaned but complied.

"Mr. Diaz, a word in the hall?" Mr Moore said, Mateo stood up and followed him out of the room.

Kace shut the door as the two walked out. "What do you want?" Mateo coldly asked, Kace sighed.

"Look I'm aware you and Sage are friends, I don't normally like sharing other students business with anyone but he hasn't shown up to class in a few days. Could you let him know we have a quiz tomorrow, I know he hasn't been studying for it I'm gonna need you to take him some missing assignments as well." Mateo scoffed.

"Trust me, we're both not worried about your stupid fucking quiz right now!" Mateo loudly said.

"Mr. Diaz do not use that type of tone with me. The quiz is due tomorrow so unless you or him want to fail, I suggest letting him know so the both of you can study." Kace said and turned to go back to the class.

"He can't study because he's gone." Mateo quietly said, kace turned back around.

"What do you mean, gone?" Kace cautiously asked.

"He's missing. So I suggest not failing us on this next grade, mr. Moore." Mateo said and pushed passed Kace to go back to class.

Kace stood in the hallway shocked.

Sage is missing?

_Sage_

It's been days since Gabriel and his men kidnapped me, days.

I'm not leaving this place am I? I asked myself.

I gulped feeling the dryness of my throat.

They haven't fed me or at least gave me anything to drink, I'm going to die here.

My body was so weak I could barely keep my head up, I'm tired.

I don't even have the energy to cry anymore, I'm just so worn out from everything.

I sat there for about 10 more minutes until I heard a door opening.

I knew it was Gabriel by his footsteps. They were loud, echoing through the building.

He stands in front of me. "You look sick, little one." He said with a laugh, I closed my eyes.

"What, no sassy response?" He asked, I just continued to ignore him.

"I'm so thirsty." I mumbled, he smiled.

"You want some water, boy?" He asked, I gave a slight nod.

"Beg for it then!" He started laughing like crazy.
