We walked through another door which was full of people some didnt have heart beats some did i guess some humans know about vampires. I looked to the center of the room there she was her eyes were closed the man next to her would start talking to her but she didnt answer
''we havent had a vampire child in centuries" a guy walked to the center ''the last one has been dead for awhile now"
''thats what you think" the man next to her said ''if you have checked this childs memories you would know that he is very much alive" everyone started to mumble to each other i looked where jace was but he was no where in sight
''jace is her father and the mother was a human and now she is one of us" he said he looked right at me and grinned. I started to walk towards him wanting to rip him apart for taking alex but someone grabbed my arm i turned to snap at them but stopped
''sasha let go she's right there i can get her and we can leave" i told her
''no" she said
''why?" she pulled me to the back of the room
''theres to many people here and he has seen you" she said ''if you attack him now you have no chance of getting out of here alive"
I looked back to where aleex stood she still had her eyes closed.
''its good she hasnt seen any of us yet"
''hows that good?"
''he will be able to sense that she is happy and he will keep an eye out for us from every direction" she grabbed my hand and lead me out of the room ''which is good we could use a blind spot"
''do we have one?" i asked following her
''yeah we've had one for awhile jace is there"
''but he was just with me" she looked at me
''no jace was with me" we both stared at each other confused
''jace was with you in there?" she asked pointing to where we came from i nodded she crossed her arms over her chest ''someone is messing with you then"
''messing with me? what do you mean"
''they are in your head they are letting you see what they want you to see" she said we walked through some more doors and found terrance
''hey guys" he said with a huge smile
''hey" sasha said looking around ''we dont have privacy anywhere" sasha kept an eye on terrance for some reason and terrance just watched the ceiling
''so what do we do now?" i asked
''we just keep moving i guess till we get a plan" sasha said we walked.
''something isnt right" sasha whispered to me
''whats wrong?" i asked she quickly glnced at terrance then back at me ''sasha?" she stopped spun around and stabbed terrance i let out a scream
''sasha what is your problem!"
''this guy doesnt smell like terrance havent you notice hes been acting weird?" she removed her knife and stepped back as the person fell to there knees and laughed
''your good vampire"
''so iv been told" she said
''im confused" i whined
''this guy is a witch and turned himself to look like terrance so he can spy on us" she said i looked back at the guy who no longer looks like terrance
''how did you find out?" he asked wincing in pain
''vampires and witches smell different" she said ''if you had our nose you would know this or you could have done your homework better" the guy busted out laughing
''what is so funny?" sasha growled
''you need to do YOUR homework better"
''huh?"
''this is a trap this isnt the vampire council its the witches and wizards" he said still laughing i swear if he laughed any harder he would pee himself. Sasha kicked him in the head and started beating on him like a hungry animal
''sasha we need to get out of here" i said grabbing her and trying to pull her off of him
''to late they all know your here" sasha and I looked at each other then back at the guy.
''soooo, whats the blindside in this?"
''i have no idea" we both turned and ran ''ok lets go get alex and leave" sasha said
