Chapter 4

Caterina

"Merda, what in the world" I muttered under my breath as I pulled out the card holder which held the identity card stating with big bold letters 'Central Intelligence Agency' below that was a picture attached of Tina with her full name but I frowned at the last name 'Valentina Ashely Ellis' then below her name was 'Chief Inspector of Investigation' was attached making my eyes widen

"Cazzo di inferno Tina, what the hell are you doing?" I muttered under my breath as I quickly push the card holder back to where it was in the drawer.

With shaky hands I turned away from her vanity "Rina! They are here, get down here" I heard mama's voice from below "Coming mama" I said as I quickly pinned my hair in place then wiped my hands on my dress trying to hide away what I just found out from my face.

Maybe it was just a fake made up card for her assignment I thought as I made my way downstairs then heard papa's voice greeting someone at the door and I took that as my sign to go stand next to Tina and mama. I saw Damon nearby papa when Mama made her way towards papa as they greeted each other and from here all I could see were tall dark headed couple talking with my parents then some other heads too behind them talking together.

We waited as they all walked in and papa came over towards us with a smile then wrapped on arm around my shoulder "My daughters, Caterina and Valentina" he said which is then I turned to see the tall dark headed man looking at us, he had the bluest eyes I had ever seen and he smiled looking at us.

"I'm pleased to finally meet the mystery girls, I'm Victor and this is my wife Elizaveta" he said as I then turned to see her also dark headed but her eyes had a lighter tone of blue, wow blue eyed family, I wonder if their sons have them too I was in my thoughts as I felt the lady hold my hand patting it with a smile on her face as she looked at me then at Tina.

"What beautiful girls you have Nikolai, now I know why you kept them hidden" she said with a smile "Oh, how rude of me" she said as she moved to turn around "Caterina, Valentina meet my sons Dmitri and Luca" she gestured her sons to come forward.

I turned to find two giants no they were bears, they both looked like literal bears, blue eyed bears. Cleanly shaved, hair slicked back but one looked more scarier while the other looked friendly but had this unsettling aura. If I had a guess the scarier one is Luca and the other is the assassin. I think I haven't seen men in so long that these two looked so big in person, is that even a normal size.

I looked towards the scarier looking one, he wore a full black suit and I noticed one arm had tattoos sneaking below the sleeves making me curious to see because I had never seen full tattooed arm before. Damon had a few but not a full sleeve of tattoo.

I was lost in my stare as my sister nudged me a little making me realise I was staring too long, I saw a smirk on the scarier looking guy as he turned to his brother who had a similar reaction. I would look like a child next to either one of them, thank goodness for my 5-inch heels but I don't think they would do much of a help either but better something than nothing right.

I saw papa welcome them towards our dining room, the scarier guy looked at me with a smirk again as he made his way following his parents then his brother just gave me and my sister a wink before following too.

"Which is which, I wasn't paying attention" I whispered to my sister "Do you think I did, they look like literal bears minus the hair plus the image of devil from hell" she whispered back at me as she pushed me to walk first. "Be nice" Damon whispered to us with a smirk before walking in before us.

I thought of asking Tina about the card I found but decided that later would be more suitable to talk about it as I walked in the dining room. I took my place next to mama and Tina sat on my right and I found that Luca and Dmitri in front of us I don't even know who is who I was in my thoughts.

Papa sat at the head of the table with Damon on one side where we were sitting and the other side with Victor and his family. I heard "Hello there, I didn't get which one of the names are you again" the friendly one said earning a smack on his arm from his mother beside him.

"What, I heard Caterina and Valentina but I didn't seem to catch on who is who" he ended the sentence smiling at me and then at Tina "Why don't you guess?" I said with a smile trying to make the atmosphere a little less tense.

I turned to see our parents continued in their own conversation and wasn't really paying attention to whatever was happening here. He smiled as he looked at me then at Tina who was looking uninterested.

"Hmm Valentina" he asked looking at me and before I could react his scary looking brother next to him said "Caterina" towards me making me give him a surprised look at him.

He smirked knowing he was right "I'm Valentina, she's Caterina" Tina said for me when I didn't reply, this dude needs to stop looking at me, it's making all my vocabulary run out the window like it's on a race I shook my head and smiled

"Well, we didn't get which one is which of you guys too" I said earning a smile from the friendly looking guy but this time he looked at Valentina longer "Why don't you guess then" the scarier one said looking at me.

I looked at the friendly looking one he was simple yet dangerous in a way I turned towards the scarier looking one, this one looks more like mess with me and I will fuck you up and it's all there no simple nothing like his brother my eyes linger a little longer on him which he noticed with another smile.

"Luca" I said at the scarier one "Dmitri" to the friendly one he does look like a Luca to me, I don't think Dmitri suits him unless if I'm totally wrong. I saw the friendly looking one smile at his brother and felt as if they were communicating in their head.

"So" I asked as they didn't answer "Bingo" the friendly looking one- oh well Dmitri said looking at us. "Well at least she has a good look for name matching" Luca said towards his brother.

Now we all know not to underestimate friendly looking ones because he is actually the assassin

Our food started to come and waiters placed out meal in front of us, we had a few short communications among each other well mostly me and Tina communicating.

Papa, Luca, Dmitri and Victor started talking business and I saw mama and their mother – Elizaveta talking about the wedding details. Soon the dessert came in and I was excited about it because it was red velvet cake with chocolate fudge ice cream making my eyes go all heart eyes the moment it was placed in front of me.

No matter what anyone says red velvet will always be the love of my life, I would even choose the cake over my to be husband who is sitting there looking like a hairless bear and which I don't even know which I'm marrying so good luck me they are both hairless bears anyway.
