I lead Rina towards the main bathroom and she didn't protest nor did she look like she was in her right mind. I saw her stand at the doorway and she yet again looked at the blood that covered her palms.
I knew that look, it's a look full of regret. She's blaming herself. I checked her to see if she was wounded and through the adrenaline she might not feel it but she was not which was a relieve. I lead her towards the sink turning it on and helped her wash off the blood. She did nothing but stand there without moving.
She watched up until the red water turn clear and then she closed her eyes taking in a breath. "It's not your fault" I said softly as I wiped her hands with a dry towel.
She looked like she didn't hear me so I jerked her towards me gaining her attention "You did nothing to cause that" I said again but she shook her head tears slipping out. God this girl's tears is really doing things to me.
"I b-brought her out-t, I made her step-p out of the house" she said in between her sobs. "That's not your fault, I should have made the area safer, I should have checked the areas for snipers as soon as you got her but things got out of hand" I said but she still shook her head as she sobbed.
She snapped her head up "D-Damon" she said eyes full of worry again "He-" I cut her off "He's fine, they grazed his leg Anna is checking on him" I said and her eyes filled in relief.
"You want to get out of those clothes, I can go get you some change" I asked her softly because her almost half of her clothes was soaked in blood. She nodded and I made my way towards the door but stopped halfway.
"You sure you'll be okay? Want me to ask Anna to help you?" I asked but she shook her head and I just nodded "I'll leave the clothes on beside the sink okay?" I said before stepping out.
After leaving some clothes on the sink, I stepped out letting her do her business and made my way towards the living room and saw Damon there getting his leg stitched up. He hissed as Anna finished up "Almost done" Anna said before snipping of the end.
She turned up to look at me and Damon did so too "How is she?" he asked and I could see the pain in his eyes not for his leg but for his sister who almost bleed out in front of him. "I'm not sure, he hasn't come out yet" I said as I sat down on the chair nearby sighing.
To be honest we didn't notice anything wrong until we heard Damon screaming for help and before I could even get there I saw Dmitri on the ground next to Tina putting pressure on her wound.
I straight called up Igor to get this place sealed up and made sure the area was swept which I assume he is doing right now. If that was the same sniper that tried to hit Rina that day then the same person hired him for this job.
I was in my thoughts when I heard Dmitri walk in with a sigh, he had blood over his shirt slightly as he slumped next to me. "Is she okay?" Damon asked impatiently "She's fine, I got it out but she lost a lot of blood so she needs as much rest as she could get" he said as he tossed me a vial of something.
I turned it up to see a bullet in it, twisting around I inspected it trying to see if it's one of ours. Each of our families had their own bullets, each had their own design, though sometimes they do use normal bullets when there are times we want the other party to know who did it we used out specialized bullets.
This bullet was nothing, no marks no family seal. Well like I expected them to show their identity by this attack. "No seal" I said and Damon looked at me, I tossed the vial to him and he took a look at it.
