"We have a few intruders" Ivan said in a strained voice as I turn to see Damon holding him in a headlock while Alex had his gun pointed at Damon and Valentina had her gun pointed at Alex. God forbid what in the world is happening, my mind is a mess.

I pointed my gun at Damon "Drop it" I said towards Valentina who looked afraid but she covered it up. I turned to Damon waiting for him to explain something he looked at me for a straight minute before dropping Ivan to the ground. Ivan coughed as he stood up punching Damon right in his face making him stagger back as Alex caught him and restrained him

I turned towards Valentina who still had her gun to Alex "Drop it" I heard Anna's voice from behind Valentina making me surprised, I thought she would be with Caterina in the safe room as soon as the first shot went out.

Valentina staggered a little looking at her brother then at me "Caterina" was all she said "Whether you like it or not you two are telling me the whole fucking story right now, it's either the hard way or you can just make it easier for yourself" I said and watched as she slowly lowered her gun knowing that they had no choice, it was four guns against two there was no way they were getting out of this.

Valentina dropped her gun "Where is she?" she asked me angrier, I put my gun down and gestured Alex to let Damon go "Now, I should be the one asking the questions, once you answer mine then you can get yours" I grabbed a chair from the kitchen island and sat down.

"Start from the beginning" I said as I turned to look at Anna who stepped away as she walked back to where the safe room was which I'm assuming where she had Caterina hide in.

Valentina still didn't answer and I sat there and waited, I don't care if it takes me all day I want my answers. She looked at Damon and they seem to talk with their eyes in some way but at the end Damon just gave her a nod only then she turned to me

"Caterina is not a Yevgeny" and that few words just changed everything. I covered my thoughts and asked her to continue "We don't know why exactly papa is trying to get rid of her but that is one the reasons" she said leaning against the wall behind her. "And you know all this how?" I asked

"We knew why you were marrying us, it was the deal papa made to get the rat out. Papa made me bait and you guys took it" she said in such a disgusted way which made me see all her hatred for her father.

"Me marrying Dmitri and you marrying Caterina forms and alliance which my papa nor yours can break, it was the whole plan from the start to make us stronger but Caterina was never in the picture because of her blood"

"So, you're telling me your father planned this whole arrangement with a totally different purpose? And how do you know all this?" I asked

"I was supposed to help papa, well we" she pointed between Damon and herself "I knew if I didn't agree he would find other ways and I couldn't just let Caterina be defenceless like that" she said sadly "Even if she is not our blood, she is our sister" she said softer letting her emotion get to her.

"I researched for everything that I could to get her out of this, the only way was the Witness Protection Program, in order to get her in without letting her real identity show I needed to be in there myself, so I took up the course, I studied and earned the certificate to get into the CIA"

"All I need to do right now was get her in, but before I could do that you took her from our home, and when Damon sent you our safe house address instead of bringing her there you took her to multiple places trying to hide her away"

I took in a breath looking at her "How old were you?" I asked and she looked up at me confused "How old were you when you found out your father wanted to kill Caterina" I explained

She looked at me for a few seconds "18" 4 years of plotting "You spent 4 years of your life trying to get your sister out" I asked and she nodded "Why wait?" I asked

"Why wait if he knew she wasn't his blood, if you were 18 Caterina would have been 16 right?" I asked and she nodded "Why wait until now, if he wanted he could have gotten rid of her long before or even before she was born" I said but was more in my own thoughts.

I turned towards Valentina and then Damon "We don't know everything, he wouldn't tell us but your father knows" I snapped my head at Valentina as soon as she finished that sentence "What?" I said angrily.

"Your father and mine are the ones who started this plan, your father was the one who volunteered you both in the first place and said that you both wouldn't care because it is just a business deal" I stared at her to see if she was just fucking with me.

"Which is exactly why I thought you were helping your father when you took her away I thought you were going with some plan of executing her that we didn't know about" she continued.

"How are you sure I'm not doing that right now" there's no way she is telling me all this without proof that shows she is stupid and this girl here is not at all stupid.

"Because you took out her tracker, you had no reason to but you did and you kept her safe from the shooting if you wanted her dead you would have let that bullet get to her and you brought her here, of all the places, your sister's home and I knew that you wouldn't do that if you really didn't want anybody finding her"

"Damon said that Dmitri was covering for you and when papa asked where you were he said that you guys were in our safe house but you weren't"

"I still don't see the reason he wants Caterina dead, be it may she is not his blood but she has done no harm to him or his business" I said thinking about it because it really didn't make sense.
