I was burning more like fuming because no matter what safety reason there is, it is not safe to put a damn tracker under anyone's skin and this idiot who calls himself her father had put it somewhere even more life threatening for her.
I watch as Caterina tried to reach behind to where I was touching but she couldn't reach that far behind her back and I knew that she had no shit idea her father had done such a thing. Before she could start panicking "It's okay" I held her by her shoulder moving her hands back down.
"We'll figure this out" I said and tried forming a plan in my head because nowhere is safe unless I take that damn shit out of her and I don't have any experience in cutting out trackers internally so there was no way I was doing it myself especially when it is lodged so close to so many veins.
It's like he wanted her to die if she were ever to try to remove the tracker.
"Let's leave first" I said as she just stood there trying to process all that is happening right now, and to be honest I don't even know how to process them so I don't think it will do her any good by trying so I grabbed her arm and lead her out.
I made sure to check the car just in case for more trackers, you can never go wrong in being too safe. I started the car and dialled Dmitri on the phone again leaving it on speaker, it took a while before he answered "Speaker" I said so I let him know Caterina was in the car too and he didn't reply.
"We're out, but I need your help" I said turning towards Caterina who was just leaning against the window in her thoughts "Did you check?" he asked in a more general way without exposing what he was asking.
I gritted my teeth "Yes, he lodged the damn thing in her back" I said out with so much anger even Dmitri should know what I'm feeling.
"I don't know how to get it out, and I don't dare to especially at where it is place" I said when he didn't reply "You're the only one who has experience with trackers, I need you to do it" I finished and it took him a while to answer "Where?" was all he said "You tell me where, and I'll be there" as soon as I said that he hang up, I knew by the way he was speaking that he wasn't alone so it was either dad there or someone else close by.
I saw my phone flash up as a message was sent and I opened to find Dmitri had texted me an address which I'm assuming was where he wanted us to come.
This place was far in the forest hidden away so if there were people to track us it was going to take them time to even reach the house. Good spot.
As we reached the house Dmitri told us, we quickly made our way in the house and I tried to make sure the car was hidden so that nobody would suspect, not like there's anyone around this area but just to be safe.
This house was a little bigger than the one we were in before, and this looked locked up for a very long time. As soon as I settled the car and came in the house I saw Caterina sitting on one of the chairs long lost in her thoughts "What are you thinking?" I asked her softly trying not to scare her.
"W-Why the tracker?" she asked in the softest tone I had ever heard as if she was confused, sad and even angry at the same time. I sat on one of the stools nearby.
"I don't know, right now I don't even know who is in fault here" I said and that caught her attention as she looked at me "You don't think Valentina is behind all this?" she asked looking at me.
I shook my head "Honestly I don't know, your father is acting as suspicious as this whole thing with Valentina so I have no clue who is really at fault"
