Chapter 18

Johnson's POV

Jess and I were cuddling on the couch watching movies together. Honestly this is so relaxing.
I looked over a Jess seeing her drifting to sleep so I brought her upstairs to her bed and pulled the covers up. I set her down gently making sure she wouldn't wake up and gave her a kiss on the forehead.
"Stay with me." Jess mumbled as I was walking out of the room.
"Sure babe." I smiled and went to the other side of her bed.
"I love you J."
"I love you Jess"

~the next day~
Jess's POV

I fell asleep with the biggest smile on my face. I feel like royalty when JJ is around, he is just the sweetest thing. I honestly don't think I can function without him. He is everything to me and my life has been better with him. Last night he stayed with me in my bed and cuddled with me until I fell asleep. He just gives me the feels and ahhhh I can't even explain it. He really is something special. But anyway today JJ and I are going on a double date with Emily and Hayes. It should be fun yet a little awkward. On the bright side I get to see Emily, which I haven't seen her in a bit. It's good to have a connection with my old friend again even though we've been hangin out for the past few weeks. It still feels like yesterday I walked into kindergarten confident to find a best friend only to find a sister. Yeah Emily and I didn't talk for 5+ years but our bond was so strong that even if we were separated for 20-30 years we would still be best friends when we see each other.

Right now I am getting ready for our double date I decided to wear something cute but casual which is basically what I wear everyday. So I just threw on a floral skater skirt with a black crop top and a heart shaped necklace. I then curled my hair and walked down stairs to hop in the car.
"Ready baby?" JJ asked.
"Yeah let's do this!" I said excitedly.
JJ laughed and pulled out of the driveway.
"Where are we going anyway?" I asked.
"I think it was some Australian place called Outback or something I'm not sure." He looked confused and unsure of his answer.
"You know the address right?"
"Yeah."
"Good so as long as you know that we should be fine."
"Just text Hayes and ask him."
"Okay."
I texted Hayes asking where we are going and he said that we were going to Outback so JJ was right. I can't wait for our double date, 1. I'm starving and 2. I get to see Emily! this should be fun.
