Chapter 11

Jess's POV

When I woke up on a hospital bed I immediately looked at the time. It was 3 pm. Great I passed out for 2 hours. I looked around and noticed a needle with string on the counter. I wonder why they needed that then it hit me. I looked down at my arms and the cuts were stitched up. Maybe that's why I passed out I lost so much blood after I cut that when I was running I got tired easily and fainted. That seems reasonable right? I heard my phone buzz and looked around the room, only to find it at my bedside table. I looked at the screen and saw a name I never thought I'd see again.

She was my friend in elementary school then when I moved we lost connection. It's sad considering she was my bestfriend and first friend. She was always there for me and I could trust her with my life.
I opened my phone, reading the message.

From: Emily🙈💕

Hey I heard you moved back to California we should meet up sometime I really miss you xo.

To: Emily🙈💕

Omg yas girl I miss you so much xx.

It was quite relaxing knowing Emily was still there for me even though we haven't talked in forever. She was my partner in crime, literally. One time we stole cupcakes from my mom even though they were for a party and almost ate all of them. There were 24 cupcakes.... You could say we were fatties.
Anyway I set my phone back down on the table. I got up again to go get food from the circle table in my room. As I was walking I heard snoring which I didn't hear before. I turned around and look for somebody in my room. I walked to the other side on my bed and saw Matt, Kian, Jc, Ricky, and Cameron on the floor. I giggled since there were four chairs in the room as well. I shook awake Matt and when he looked up he screamed,
"JESS IS UP!"
"I've been up for a few." I laughed.
"I'm so happy Jess I don't know what I would do if you didn't wake up faster. I mean I know you were up yesterday but then you fell asleep and we
We're waiting for you to wake up again."
All the guys were up since Matt screamed and we were just talking and laughing not caring we were loud.
I heard a knock in the door and Hayes walk in with pain shown in his eyes.
"Hey... Jess." Hayes awkwardly spoke.
"Hi Hayes, what are you doing here?" I asked.
"I came to say sorry. I have been the biggest asshole these last 5 years. I guess I had trouble letting go. Anyway I broke up with Madison but for some odd reason she wanted me to give you her number so here." Hayes handed me a slip I paper with Madison's number.
"Thanks but why are you telling me this?"
"I meet this really cute girl awhile ago and we started talking again. I really like her and I would like you to meet her."
"Why?"
"I honestly couldn't tell you why."
"That's a great reason."
"Okay fine, I want you to come because you were my first good girlfriend until... ya know.. you ran. So I want you to meet her and approve? I guess I don't know just please come."
"Fine I'll come."
