Falling Harder (Sequel To The Babysitter)

Chapter 4

Jess's POV

We walked inside the house and went to the couch to watch movies. Sam Trevor and Connor are sleeping over so I told them we should have a movie night.
"Okay what kind of movie are we watching?" Trevor asked.
"I don't care really as long as its not scary." I said awkwardly laughing.
"Scary movie it is!" Sam shouted.
Of course it a scary movie. Why couldn't we watch comedy or some stupid movie, why scary.
Whatever I'll just have to live with it.
The boys and Kayla picked The Women in Black. Lizzie was going to stay but then Matt and the magcon boys wanted to come over which if it was Matt, Jack and Jack. I would be fine but its not its everybody. But back to the movie we popped in the tape and I went to the kitchen to make popcorn, it was awfully quiet in there but I just thought they were focusing on the movie. But man was I wrong. As I was walking back nobody was on the couch.
"Kian!"
"Trevor!"
"Connor!"
"Sam!"
"Jc!"
"Kayla!"
"SOMEBODY!" I yelled throughout the house. I'm not gonna lie I was scared. I walked up the stairs slowly to look in the rooms when I heard a stair make a noise behind me. I turned around and nothing was there.
"Kian! This isn't funny!" I shouted as I reached the top of the stairs.
I went to the guest bedroom first and looked in the closet and under the bed. Next I went to Jc's room and looked everywhere. Then Kian's I was about to turn the doorknob when hands snaked around me covering my mouth. If this is one of the boys I swear I'm not talking to them for months. I squirmed trying to get out of this persons grip then the lights turn on and the person let go. I turned around to find Kian.
"WHY? WHY? WOULD YOU DO THAT!" I was nearly bawling my eyes out I was so scared.
"Please don't cry it was a joke." Kian said as him smile vanished into worry.
"I thought I was going to get killed." I whispered.
"I'm so sorry. I'll never do that again." In that moment Kian swooped me up and brought me downstairs to sit on the couch with him.
"Guys you can come out now!" Kian shouted. "What movie would you like to watch Miss Jess?" Kian asked
"Can we watch Nemo?" I asked Kian looking at me trying not to laugh.
"What it is a good movie."
"I agree."
We all sat there watching the credits to Nemo. I don't think anybody really watched the movie. Trevor fell asleep, Connor was on twitter, Kayla is God knows where, Sam was on Instagram, Kian and I were talking.
"Hey Kian?Where should we sleep?" Connor asked
"I can give up my bed if you want it's totally fine." I happily offered.
"No I wouldn't wan-"
"Just take it Connor." I interrupted.
"Okay what about us?" Sam said.
"You can take Lizzie's bed she's sleeping over at Matt's house. And one of them is a queen sized bed so share." I said.
"So where will you be sleeping?" Kian asked me.
"On the couch." I simply responded.
"I can't let you do that sleep in my bed."
"I am not taking your bed from you."
"Then we will both sleep in it."
"Fine." I sighed.
We went upstairs to Kian's room and got settled in.
"Goodnight Jess."
"Goodnight Kian."
And with that we both fell asleep.
