The GAang laid together on a rock looking up to the clear sky. There were no clouds, it was perfectly clear.

They watched a meteor shower rain through the sky, and (Y/n) was amazed at how beautiful it was. Comets streaked across the sky in bright white and blues, then faded away.

"Wow, this is amazing to watch." Katara said.

"Kind of makes you realize how insignificant we are." Sokka says.

"Eh, if you've seen nothing once, you've seen it 1,000 times." Toph shrugs.

The group gasps in unison when a meteor shines brightly, and shoots across the sky. It was way bigger and brighter than any of the other meteors they were seeing.

"Oh man. You've never not seen anything like this." Sokka says.

The meteor seems to grow closer to them, until it hurdles above their heads and hits some land behind a hill a little bit away from them. It explodes on impact, blue light shining over the area then disappearing. A plume of smoke rises from the explosion, a red hue now coming from the site.

Everyone looked to the smoke, then to each other. They climb aboard Appa, and go to the fire.

There was a town pretty close by, and if they didn't put it out, it would get destroyed.

They landed near the flames. "There's a creek over here. I'll bend the water onto the fire. (Y/n), stay with me so that you can guide Appa." Katara instructed.

"Got it." (Y/n) said, getting out of the saddle to sit at Appa's reigns as everyone else except her and Katara hopped off of Appa.

(Y/n) guided Appa down to the creek, low enough for Katara to bring up a large amount of water. (Y/n) steered Appa above the fire, and Katara tried to spread as much as she could over the entirety of the fire.

They went back down to the creek, where Katara picked up some more water. They flew by Aang, and Katara passed some of the water to him. As Katara put the last of her water on the fire, Aang turned his to snow to finish the fire off.

(Y/n) landed Appa on the ground, wiping sweat off of her brow that had formed from being so close to the flames.

Aang dusted his hands off, smiling. "Good work, everybody."

(Y/n) looks around. "Where did Sokka go?"

She found him in a pile of snow, where Sokka's head was poking out. Momo slid on the ice next to him.

The next morning, they decided to eat breakfast in the town that had almost gotten destroyed. They found a nice place with a patio, and took and table under the awning that the place had set up.

Aang sat down with his tray, across from an empty seat. "These people have no idea how close they were to getting toasted last night."

"Yeah, but the worst thing about being in disguise is we don't get the hero worship anymore," Toph sighs, resting her chin in her hand. "I miss the love."

(Y/n) nods, her mouth too full of food to respond.

"Boo-hoo, poor heroes." Sokka's bitter tone come from the steps down from the patio where he sat.

"What's your problem?" Katara asks. "You haven't even touched your smoked sea slug." Sokka's plate was still steaming in the cool air.

"It's just...all you guys can do this awesome bending stuff like putting out forest fires, and flying around, and making other stuff fly around," Sokka twirls his index finger in the air, his back still turned to the rest of them. "I can't fly around, okay? I can't do anything."
