After being chased by some freak who could blow shit up with his mind, the GAang finally found a spot far away enough to where they thought he couldn't track them.
The air here was as hot as it always was, and the clouds rolled lazily across the sky.
(Y/n) watched Aang out of the corner of her eye as she aimed her arrow at her target.
He was really getting the hang of Toph's seeing method in her earthbending, and he was wearing a blindfold to restrict his sight. He avoided Toph's and Katara's attacks pretty easily, but they were still going in stages with how hard they should fight against him.
(Y/n) fired her last arrow at the center of the target, and looked around the terrain, looking for somewhere to place the target that would make it harder for her. Maybe she'd get Toph or Aang to make a target move for her, later.
Katara and Toph started bickering after Toph hit Katara with a rock, and Katara dumped a small wave onto Toph.
The two girls advanced towards each other, but Aang intervened and the girls collided, flying off of their bending platforms.
Sokka came up from behind a rock, and ran towards Aang.
Sokka yelled a war cry as he ran. "Sneak attack!"
Aang, still blindfolded, brought up some rock from the ground, and Sokka ran right into it. "Sokka, sneak attacks don't work if you yell it out loud." Aang said, pulling his blindfold off.
"Aang, think fast!" (Y/n) yelled, shooting an arrow at Aang.
Aang airbended the arrow off of its path, and made it fly in a different direction. (Y/n) had been training with Aang to redirect her arrows, just in case they came across the Yuyan, or to help them in battle if need be.
(Y/n) smiled and stuck a thumb up at the boy, but her smile fell when she heard grunting coming from Toph and Katara.
(Y/n) rolled her eyes, and walked with Sokka and Aang over to the mud, where Toph and Katara were fighting each other.
"Uh, guys, I thought we were supposed to be training me." Aang said.
Katara composed herself, covered in mud. "Very well, pupil. I believe we've had enough training for today." Katara walked out of the mud to go clean up.
"While Katara cleans up, let's go have some fun." Toph suggests, bending the mud off of her.
Sokka and Aang cheer in agreement.
"(Y/n)? Do you wanna come?" Toph asked.
"Nah. I'll stay with Katara this time, you guys have fun!" (Y/n) said, waving them off before they went into town.
When (Y/n) found Katara, she was muttering to herself as she was bending all of the water out of her freshly washed clothes, letting her hair air dry in the sun. Appa sat on the edge of the cliff, sleeping in the warm sun.
"Hey there." (Y/n) said as she approached.
Katara looked at (Y/n), then sighed. "Hey, (Y/n)."
"What's got you so down?" (Y/n) said, picking up Katara's hair tie from the ground.
Katara's face scrunched. "Just Toph. She makes me upset sometimes."
(Y/n) sat down on the ground by their things, and patted the ground in front of her. Katara sat in front of (Y/n), with her back to (Y/n).
"You guys have always kinda butted heads. You're pretty different from each other." (Y/n) said, grabbing a comb and brushing it gently through Katara's undone hair.
