Sokka clutched the rolled up scroll in his hand as he and (Y/n) walked back to the Fire Lord's vacation home. He was so excited to show everyone what they had found on their little trip into the town nearby.
"You guys are not gonna believe this!" Sokka yelled, bursting into the courtyard with (Y/n) trailing behind him. "There's a play about us."
"We were just in town and we found this poster." (Y/n) says as Sokka unrolls the parchment in his hand.
Everyone walks closer to see it more clearly.
"What? How is that possible?" Katara asks.
"Listen to this: "The Boy in the Iceberg" is a new production from acclaimed play-write Pu-On Tim, who scoured the globe gathering information on the Avatar. From the icy South Pole to the heart of Ba Sing Se. The sources include singing nomads, pirates, prisoners of war, and a surprisingly knowledgeable merchant of cabbage." Sokka announces, reading off of the poster.
"Brought to you by the critically acclaimed Ember Island Players," (Y/n) says, finishing off the sentence that was left on the poster. "Hey, i've heard of them. Never got to see a show, though."
Zuko groans loudly. "My mother used to take us to see them. They butchered "Love Amongst the Dragons" every year."
"I must've dodged a bullet, then." (Y/n) says.
"No kidding." Zuko grumbles.
"Sokka, do you really think it's a good idea for us to attend a play about ourselves?" Katara asks worriedly.
"Come on! A day at the theatre? This is the kind of wacky time-wasting nonsense i've been missing!" Sokka smiles wide, showing the poster to (Y/n) again.
Katara furrowed her eyebrows and thought for a moment. "Fine."

They chose to sit high in the nosebleeds for the play, agreeing that the less people that saw them all, the better.
Toph complained that her feet couldn't see a thing, and Zuko sat right between Katara and Aang, much to Aang's chagrin.
Sokka, Suki, and (Y/n) sat in the seats behind the other four, with (Y/n) sitting between the two.
The curtain in front of the stage lifted, revealing a set design of a river, glaciers, a canoe, and two stage actors in the canoe, who were supposed to be Katara and Sokka.
Sokka leaned down to tap his sister on the shoulder, and pointed between him and her, and the stage actors.
Actress Katara dramatically sighed. "Sokka, my only brother, we constantly roam these icy South Pole seas, and yet never do we find anything...fulfilling." The actress was wearing clothing that was way too revealing for a 14 year old girl. How old did the writer think they were?
(Y/n) cringes. Yikes already.
"All I want is a full feeling in my stomach. I'm starving!" Actor Sokka said, and the audience laughed.
"Is food the only thing on your mind?" Actress Katara asks.
"Well, i'm trying to get it out of my mind, and into my mouth. I'm starving!" Actor Sokka said, looking to the audience for a laugh.
"This is pathetic! My jokes are way funnier than this." Sokka groaned.
Toph giggled. "I think he's got you pegged."
"Every day, the world awaits a beacon to guide us, yet none appears. Still, we cannot give up hope. For hope is all we have," Actress Katara then flops dramatically over the side of the canoe. "And we must never relinquish it, even...even to our dying breath." She then begins to wail dramatically.
