Sokka had steered the eel hound into the water, and the animal was swimming towards their destination at the edge of the Earth Kingdom.

A while ago, the comet had made its way into the atmosphere, turning the sky a brilliant red, and coating everything in that same colour.

"It's weird to say, but the comet actually looks beautiful." Suki said.

"Too bad the Fire Lord's about to use it to destroy the world." Toph said.

(Y/n) looked forward, and they were coming up on their destination. The small island they were coming up on was rocky, and in the middle of the island was a divot that was surrounded by cliffs.

They came up onto shore, and the eel hound laid down to let everyone off. They climbed up one of the rocks, and peered down the cliff they stood on.

Below them was the Fire Nation's airship fleet, and it was beginning to take off. The airship closest to them rose up and above them.

"We're too late! The fleet's already taking off." Sokka panicked.

"Then we're taking off, too," Toph said. "Where's the closest airship?"

"It's right—ah!" Sokka started.

Toph launched them all up into the air, and they landed on a walkway of one of the airships. (Y/n) and Sokka caught Toph before she could hit the ground.

They climbed up a ladder into the main hold of the airship. Sokka knew where the control room was, so everyone followed his lead. They had to try and keep their steps as quiet as possible because of the metal flooring. They came up on a door, and Sokka leaned on the wall to one side of it, while Suki and (Y/n) leaned on the other side.

(Y/n) pulled her bow out, and loaded an arrow.

Toph stood at the door, knocked rhythmically, and kicked down the door at the last knock. She bent the metal door to her body, and was able to withstand the firebending of the soldiers inside. She was metalbending soldiers to the wall and to the ceiling, and when the last soldier flew out of the doorway and hit a wall deadweight, the other three knew it was safe to go inside.

Toph bent the metal armour away from her and stepped out of it. "That's how it's done."

(Y/n) put her arrow back in her quiver and put her bow back around her body. "Nice work, Toph."

"Time to take control of the ship. Take the wheel." Sokka said.

"That's a great idea! Let the blind girl steer the giant airship." Toph says sarcastically.

"I was talking to Suki." Sokka says flatly.

Toph purses her lips. "That would make a lot more sense."

"What are we gonna do about the rest of the crew?" Suki asks from the wheel.

"Take us down closer to the water. I've got an idea." Sokka says.

Suki begins to guide the ship closer to the water as Sokka grabs the microphone for the PA system in the ship.

Sokka clears his throat, putting on a greatly exaggerated voice. "Attention crew, this is your captain speaking. Everyone, please report to the bomb bay immediately for hotcakes...and sweet cream. We have a very special birthday to celebrate."

Sokka points to a lever on the control panel, and (Y/n) takes a hold of it. After a few minutes, they're sure that the whole crew has made it to the bomb bay. Sokka nods at (Y/n), and she pulls the lever. The ship jolts a little with the loss of all the weight, and through the broken window, (Y/n) could hear the yells of the crew as they fell and hit the water.
