Skai
"What is it that was so important that it couldn't wait?" My mom asked irritated
"You have to promise me you won't get mad." I said nervously
"Skai if you don't get on with it. I need to get to the booster club meeting."
Well here goes nothing
"I'm...pregnant." I said lowly
"What did you just say?"
"I said I'm pregnant."
"Get rid of it." My mom said getting up walking away
"What?"
"You heard me Skai, this family has a reputation to uphold and I will not let you ruin it by being a stereotype." She said pointing her finger in my face
"I'm not getting rid of my baby!" I yelled
"Do you even know who the father is, and Skai I swear to god if it's your trainer-..."
"It's not him mom!" I said cutting her off before she could even finish "I don't just sleep with anybody."
"Who's the father then hm?"
"His name is Sebastian."
"Sebastian Ames, that boy that lives next to Nala?"
"Yes." I nodded
"You could've at least gotten pregnant by a boy whose family has money."
"I'm not a gold digger like you!"
Before I could say anything else she smacked me causing me to hold my cheek afterwards to suppress the stinging.
"I do what I have to do, so you can live this luxurious life you ungrateful slut! Now you're getting rid of that damn baby first thing Monday."
"That's not your choice to make." I cried
"Hell if it is." She said grabbing her keys off the counter before walking out
Tears started to spew from my eyes uncontrollably. I knew that my mom wouldn't take the news well but I didn't think that she would force me to go get an abortion. I swear my mom is more concerned with how this family looks rather than the wellbeing of those who are apart of it.
"Princess, why are you crying?" My stepdad Jason asked walking into the kitchen
"I told you to stop calling me that." I said wiping my tears
"It's a habit, now are you going to tell me what has you crying like that?"
"It's none of your business Jason." I rolled my eyes
"Skai I'm trying my best here." He said frustrated
"Just leave me alone." I said grabbing my phone retreating to my room.
