When Bill had first asked you if you'd spend Christmas with his family you were nervous, meeting your boyfriend's family was nerve wracking as it was let alone on a holiday.

You'd agreed to spend Christmas Eve night at Bill's, and then go to his parent's house the next morning.

He'd got you settled on the sofa and then brought over a mug of steaming hot chocolate to you. "Thank you," you told him as you accepted the mug.

He sat down next to you, draping his arm over your shoulder. "I think I need to prewarn you about tomorrow."

You laughed, looking up at him. "Oh, come on, your family cannot be that bad."

He grimaced slightly. "You know how I told you about us and magic?" he questioned, and you nodded.

Bill had told you about both his magical secret and his furry secret about a month ago, and he was surprised at how well you reacted – you didn't think he was crazy, you didn't run away screaming, instead you sat there and told him how you'd always had a feeling about something else going on but couldn't explain it.

"Well, they don't know that you know, not yet anyway," he rushed out looking slightly sheepish. "All they know is that you're a muggle and that you are coming to spend Christmas with us."

"Are you wanting to mess with them on purpose?" you quizzed with a small smile. "Because you know they'll assume to hide everything from me, because from what you told me last time I still really shouldn't know about all of this," you gestured to his moving pictures and books and all things magic as you spoke.

He chuckled. "Not on purpose no," he admitted. "But I didn't want to write it to them in a letter, so I figured I'd let them handle a muggle for a while and see if they can cope for a day without magic."

You rolled your eyes but there was a smile on your face. "That's ever so slightly cruel," you chastised him, but you couldn't hold back your laugh.

He smiled at you and pulled you closer. "Are you sure you still want to come to Christmas with the Weasley's?"

Pretending to think for a moment, there was a flash of worry in Bill's eyes, but you couldn't hold a straight face. "Trust me, there's nowhere else I'd rather spend it," you reassured him as you leant up to kiss his cheek. "Plus, what's Christmas without a little family torment."

Your words caused him to laugh. "I may regret introducing you to the twins," he muttered to himself as he thought of all the mischief you could get into with them.

"Well, if you're wanting to keep me around as long as you say you do," you told him with a small smile. "Then meeting everyone is a good starting point, yes?"

He smiled and nodded, leaning down to kiss your forehead. "If I get my way, I'm keeping you right here forever."
