As I was saying goodbye to Iela, Jayla budged me. She nearly sent me flying with her fat self.

"Ay, bruv, watch where you're going!" Iela yelled at Jayla, defending me.

"Bitch please" she snorted and walked off. I broke out laughing because, she thought she was bad but, she really wasn't .

As I left the school, I saw Marvin coming over to me.

"Hi" he grinned. Before I could answer I was interrupted by...guess who?

"Hi Marvyy" Jayla the turd yelled and grabbed his arm and tried to pull him away. He shook her off.

"Jayla , can't you leave me alone for one second? Man, fuck sake. Jeez." he muttered angrily before sauntering away. She knew something was going on and she had to go and spoil it. I looked back and she grinned before walking off with Olivia.

As I neared my house, I realised that my door was slightly open ajar. This was unusual. As I crept inside I saw that noone was inside, I carefully opened my bedroom and saw a note on the floor.

Dear Ayesha,

Don't be scared if you see the door open, I left it open because, as you know Emmanuel doesn't have his key and you need to close the door with the key. I also asked him to pop out and get me a few things and pick up Nyse from nursery.

Mum.

I didn't know why but, my mum loves writing letters. Even though she had a smartphone to text me. I quickly went to lock the door.

As I dressed in my house clothes , I recieved a text from an unknown number. I opened it:

Hi, this is Marvin, I got your number from Iela, save it and text me back when you have saved my number.

I immediately saved the number. Before I could do anything else, there was a knock on the door. I checked the peep hole and saw it was my brother and my little sister.

"Yo" I greeted him. He nodded and walked in. I got my sister dressed in her house clothes and gave her, some buttered toast to eat, whilst watching CBeebies.

Emmanuel slumped down on the chair, scrolling through his iPhone. I then realized I'd forgotten to reply to Marvin's text.

I quickly grabbed my phone and texted him back, I'm sorry I replied late, how are you? Minutes later he replied and we started chatting. He was calling me pretty and telling me about himself. I was really into the chat, until my dumb m brother interrupted me.

"Why you smiling for? Who you chatting to?" he interrogated.

"I beg, is it your business ?" I asked him in an African accent and got up off the couch and into my room. I heard the door open and I heard my mum call me to help her with the shopping. I walked to the front door, took some of the bags and took them to the kitchen, unpacked the items and left the room and waited for my mum to cook some grub.

I didn't have any homework because, I was still new and my presence was still unnoticed by the system so, I had nothing to do.

"Food is ready!" my mum yelled from the kitchen, she made roasted chicken, rice and some stew. I ate that, showered and got ready for bed.

"Goodnight" I yelled from my bedroom and hopped into bed.
