Fourth period was over and I waited for Iela to go to lunch. She had to talk to her math teacher. Mya was elsewhere hanging with some other people.

When Iela came out, we locked arms and walked to the canteen. As Iela was chatting about her boyfriend and how she hated his sister, the boy I saw earlier was with these two black guys.

He looked at me and we stared at each other for a long time. I couldn't even hear Iela, I was lost in the moment until she tapped my arm.

''Ayesha!'' She shouted.

''Huh, yeah?.."' I said, snapping back.

''Ooh...girl are you staring at Marvin? All the girls love him, he's dangerous" She told me pointing to the boy, apparently named Marvin. I ignored her, she chuckled and babbled on . I dared not look back at the boy.

After we ate, me and Iela went outside.

''Marvin!?'' She shouted at him. He turned around and he and his friends walked to us. He smiled at me and I looked down. He had his hands in his pockets. He kept his eyes on me as his friends were talking to Iela.

''Hi'' he finally said, he seemed just as shy as me.

'' Hi'' I replied I couldn't even look up.

''What's your name?'' he asked me politely.

''Ayesha, your names Marvin right?'' I said. He nodded with a cute smile. His smile was so beautiful. We kept talking about our family and our lives, until I felt comfortable around him. He complimented me a lot of times, which was really nice. But then, the bell went and it was time to part ways.
