Mei Daifu sighed audibly.
"Wei-Gongzi," she spoke, courteously, considering they had an audience, "what happened in the night hunt three months back?"
"Wait- What???? THREE MONTHS? I HAVE BEEN SLEEPING FOR THREE MONTHS?" Wei Wuxian thought they had gone crazy.
How the fuck can he sleep for three months?
It was just an wound....!
"A-Xian....what happened back then?" Jiang Fengmian asked.
Wei Wuxian looked down, trying to recollect his memories.
"There were a lot of Fierce corpses..... I remember being injured while trying to take Chen Qing back..... And then.... And then there was a man! Yes! Right! There was a man who killed the corpses and probably saved me as well.... Though his face....is blurry," Wei Wuxian narrated.
Everyone nodded understandingly.
Wei Wuxian did not understand what the fuck was going on.
"What's wrong with me, Daifu?" He questioned once more.
"A-Xian.... Do not panic once you know...please," Jiang Yanli held his hand, sobbing. Wei Wuxian dumbly nodded.
"Wei-Gongzi, you have been correctly identified as an Omega, as of now," Mei Daifu said solemnly.
Wei Wuxian thought he heard a joke.
"I am a man, Nainai." He stated the obvious.
"Yes. A Male Omega." She said, sighing.
Wei Wuxian felt his world spinning.
He, an....Omega?
Even in his wildest dream, he wouldn't have conjured up such an absurd thing.
Suddenly, a chill ran down his spine.
He concentrated on his body.....and he still has a golden core.
"I.....I have my core," he dumbly stated, as if that will change the obvious.
"Obviously. You have cultivated one! It isn't that Omegas cannot have a core. It's just, they are not allowed to," Mei Daifu explained.
"Right.... Oh?...Just a moment...." Wei Wuxian clutched the side of his head so as to not fall unconcious.
"A-Xian are you unwell??" Jiang Yanli asked. Wei Wuxian shook his head and sat up straighter.
He finally knew why his own body felt different to him. Instead of losing weight in three months, he has gained some roundness near his hips, they have become a little wider and if he concentrated enough, next to his golden core, there was an empty feeling. As if something could be stored there.
More like someone. A possible child.....?
"What.... what happens now?" He questions, squirming in his place. The idea of bearing a child in the far future seems awkward to him. His entire life, he had trained to be Jiang Cheng's right hand man and serve Yunmeng and later the Imperial Family as an Elite Guard. Now though....
"You have to cultivate less Wei-Gongzi. And slowly get accustomed to the scents of other Alphas and Omegas," Mei Daifu states, each revelation settling a dark feeling inside him.
