Lan Wangji stopped at the door for a moment before walking inside. Something was definitely off about Wei Ying.

"Wei Ying, what's wrong?" He asked, pulling the other man into his arms.

Wei Wuxian blinked up at him before shaking his head.

Lan Wangji was not convinced but simply kissed Wei Wuxian and murmured, "Xiongzhang is here. We will talk later, hmm?"

Wei Wuxian nodded, smiling a bit.

Lan Xichen smiled at the two who were walking with their fingers intertwined, as all of them sat down for lunch.

Lunch was as normal as possible. Lan Xichen enquired after Wei Wuxian's health and if he needed anything. The man was clearly excited to become an uncle and Wei Wuxian chuckled seeing the glee in his eyes.

Lan Wangji was quiet for most of the meal, busy passing food to his husband and brother.

"She will tell Huang Fu today," Wei Wuxian replied quickly.

Lan Wangji closed his eyes as he felt a headache coming. 

He more or less knows how his father might react.

H wasn't very happy when the Empress was pregnant and was unbothered when his previous concubine, Jin Ba Zi was pregnant.
