By the time the newly married pair returned to Jingshi, it was quite close to curfew. Wei Wuxian felt cold almost immediately as they reached the courtyard.
"Lan Zhan, can I ask something?" Wei Wuxian asked tentatively. Lan Wangji nodded quietly.
"Do I get my own quarters?" He asked.
Lan Wangji froze for a second before nodding in affirmation.
"In the Jingshi, there are several separate quarters. As the Prince Consort, Wei Ying does have his own rooms," he explained.
"Oh. Then.... Should I sleep there?" Wei Wuxian asked, lowering his head. He has already decided not to bother Lan Wangji with his Omega scent if Lan Wangji hates it so much.
"Wei Ying can sleep wherever he likes," Lan Wangji neither denied nor agreed.
Wei Wuxian felt silent. Truthfully, he was unwilling to be left alone after being locked up by himself in the Jiang manor. Here, in an unfamiliar place the only one he got is Lan Wangji. He fumbled with his hands, a little hesitant to shift to a different room.

Wei Wuxian brightened up.

Wei Wuxian nodded and went in the direction of Lan Wangji's rooms, chattering once again....
Lan Wangji followed him in a sedate pace, wondering why he was so accepting towards the Omega.......
